Oh wow, a Nintendo thread where everyone’s acting like a child, what a shocker.
Shitty pot shots aside, Wii is still probably one of my favorite entries. When I was constantly sick as a kid at the hospital, THE thing to do was tell some goof ass kids in the next room you could kick their ass in Mario Kart. The doctors would pull up the wii and we’d have kids cheering or booing others, it was great focusing on that instead of dying, which most of us were.

So thanks Mario Kart for bringing people together to kick each other’s ass in a cozy way and may it continue to be so.

Yeah, I get that. I like Sonic but it's way less interesting by exclusively featuring just those characters. Less track variety, too. I'm pretty sure the new one emphasized some dumb team mechanics too, and I'm not interested in them going in that direction.

It's funny, I didn't play Mario Kart 8 until last December, now all of a sudden there's a ton of DLC on the way.

First time I played Mario Kart online and it's an absolute blast.

I've been wanting to revisit Double Dash for ages, haven't played it since it first came out, but GameCube game prices lol.

Mario Kart for the SNES is shit and the worst Mario Kart game in the franchise.

The trouble with the SNES original is the way the map takes up half the screen, what's up with that?

Mario Kart: Super Circuit on the GBA is like a better version of the original, played that back in October, is it safe to say that's the most underrated entry?

The key is the low rating for Double Dash. I mostly enjoyed that game at the time but it doesn't hold up well at all.
