Some of you might remember rumors going around before the release of the Switch of Nintendo collaborating with Ubisoft to combine everyone's favorite Italian stereotype with nobody's favorite Minions-before-there-were-Minions. The rumors died down when the console was released and the game was nowhere to be seen, so everyone sighed a sigh of relief and went back to their lives.

Now, a somewhat prolific industry insider claims that the game is still real and will likely be shown off in the near future, i.e. probably at the next E3. And if you thought the mere idea of Mario doing a crossover with a bunch of obnoxious lagomorphs was the dumbest shit you ever heard, wait until you hear about the details of this supposed game. "[The leaker] goes on to share that the game will feature eight playable characters which include Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi. The other 4 characters aren’t disclosed. Each character will wield their own sci-fi weapon like laser guns, arm cannons etc. Apparently the characters aren’t controlled directly but rather controlled through what is dubbed a Tuttorio which is a small floating dish which guides the characters through the world. The game is also said to feature co-op multiplayer."
