I still don't understand the religious like hype for Black Panther, the first movie was your run of the mill superhero movie that didn't do anything new apart of being set on a nigger superstate, the characters and plot were so plain and boring that I had a hard time even remembering any of it after seeing the movie all those years back.

Coming to America has a similar concept as Wakanda but it wasn't really mentioned more than necessary. So I guess a movie could have a Wakanda-like country and still be good. But that doesn't work for superhero movies anyway because they're stupid consoomer slop.

(Note: I've never watched this trash so I don't really fully understand the whole role of Wakanda beyond the name and what it is describing. If I had to make a guess it was a pivotal part of the movie and they couldn't shut the fuck up about it for more than 2 seconds - that's not necessarily proof that Wakanda itself is dumb but probably more proof that modern mainstream movies can't do things in a subtle manner whatsoever.)
