Overwatch without Blizzard fucking it up is like a dream come true. The fact they won't cuck and force role queue is even more appreciated.
 
I picked this up at my friend's request and never played an Overwatch type game before. I immediately picked fishdog. What should I be doing in matches?
 
it's a fun game that's going to have an extremely toxic meta that infects everything because that's how these games always go.

the problem with PVP games is people are naturally competitive so the idea you're going to have a "just for fun" mode or game is impossible. no one wants to lose.
 
Thing is that fun is subjective, so there will always be people sweating in fun modes or casual. Lack of role queue makes for some fun and janky team comps but most often than not it will make you lose the game unless everyone play great. Personally i enjoy the game as a breath of fresh air and coming back to a hero shooter after years of not playing feels good. I still advocate for role queue because it gets retarded when its 6 dps and half dont know what the fuck they are doing.


Personally ive gravitated towards playing support/tank since everyone forgets those exists so more often than not im indirectly forced into playing either of those. Mind you i dont mind but sometimes it is annoying when i wanna level proficiency with a character but i cant because everyone went dps so now i have to pick a healer or a tank.
 
I just hope that this doesn't turn into e-sports shit. The game is a mess right now and i think that is why people love it. It barely has underpowered characters and the strong one are just a little bit over the top, just enough to give the gameplay that extra spice.

But WTF is the world going to do, when China starts to pump out quality Video games?

Makes me wonder if marvel is moving back to attractive characters or if a coomer somehow found himself in charge of the art direction for the game

This is the chinaman's long term plan.
Replace the market then convert it to pro chinese censored slop MTX fully after the market has been crushed.
Just like they did with manufacturing industry but on a cultural level.
Its just a shame western devs are so fucking awful and doing what China plans already that they'll likely get away with it.

you either produce for a customer base or you don't produce at all. supply & demand is literally one of THE most basic bitch laws of commerce, for now china delivers what's demanded. once they deviate from that the reaction will be the same.

I hate how I have to mention it, but it's crazy how nobody's realized that adding a bad guy to a video game means YOU GET TO KILL SAID BAD GUY IN THE VIDEO GAME. When Steven Universe was confirmed to be a playable character in Multiversus, guess what a lot of the community marketing was centered around.

Here you go, it's the same anti-cheat called Neacprotect:
TL;DR It asks you to disable Windows security features to work. More specifically the "Core Isolation".

Yes, that setting is not on by default for everyone, but that's not the point. If a software is asking me to disable security features for it to work AND stays on my system after uninstalling the game requiring me to manually delete stuff in a Windows folder, then I am going to assume its doing so with malicious intention. Thought about checking it out, but I will pass.

idk anything about Marvel or capeshit/capeslop in general but I've been playing Dagger because her projectiles autoaim at a distance. Game is fun but I wouldn't have installed it if I had known about the anti-cheat thing.

All they do in the comics is after being forced to super heroin by evil drug dealers they decide to go on an early crusade of killing drug dealers until the War on drugs was considered over they stopped. While also being a white female black male paring they dont really have romantic feelings for one another and they were made in the 80s so take that as you will
