I don't think role queue will fly beyond people still pretending Overwatch will get better (it won't, and they're probably taking all the wrong lessons from Rivals current success), but balance updates would be nice. Nothing major, even some resurrection abilities don't seem as broken as OW having immortality field or Kiriko's cleanse, but some damage nerfs to the low skill faggot characters like Scarlet Witch would be nice. Or you make them have less HP.

But it also depends how often Rivals plans to patch. This is why I think hero bans should also be in quick play, just as an extra buffer to needing nerfs in the first place.

Wolverine is very nutty especially when people learned about the HP % damage he does, if they have 2 tanks just go wolverine and flank them for messing up their entire frontline. Once you build up the rage you can do actual damage to squishes too.

@Judas Connor Moon convienced me to try Marvel Rivals for the new year. Another live service hero shooters.

Here's what I like and don't like so far:

Like: team synergy and character design.
Dislike: character select menu, overall UI

If you're unfamiliar with Marvel lore, you'll have a hard time understanding who and what each character does and why. Otherwise, it's familiar to Overwatch. Reminds me of Battleborn actually.
 
So, is this game worth a play or does it have the "we haz sexy bitches" appeal going for it.
 
I think the only thing I'm not liking is that I'm guaranteed too have an orange clock in the corner of my screen (except when it's red) and I think that's the only thing keeping me stuck in Bronze.

Hawkeye can one-tap an ulting Luna/Mantis while generally shitting out huge single target damage, and Hela (besides being hitscan) has a rather oppressive ult that someone like Loki can copy for extra "no fun allowed". Things might change when they lose their season bonuses, but for now it's annoying to deal with.

Watching Hela/Hawkeye one-tricks lose their shit when they encounter bans will never not be funny, at least.

How much more players would Concord have gotten, had they kept the servers up long enough until Marvel Rivals's release, and used the Taiwan/Hong Kong/Winnie the Pooh/1989 censorship as a marketing tool, by saying that Marvel Rivals oppressess Taiwanese and Hong Kongers, while Concord shows solidarity for them with it's commitment to DiVeRsItY? But then again, Sony doesn't want to lose the Chinese market, so that would never happen.

Oldrim has reached 2 Billion Mod Downloads on Nexusmods https://imgur.com/a/MfrwVed

Even if the current traffic continues (it likely won't, as daily Downloads have been continually decreasing since 2018), it will take at least 50 years till Oldrim will reach the next Milestone (3 Billion Downloads or 100 000 mods)

So given that traffic will likely decrease further, this will most likely be the last Milestone that Oldrim will ever achieve.

FYI, Nexus apparently removed a Captain America Biden mod too which I can't find. However, as per the showcase video comment. The creator of the mod already put it up on De Mods.

Wesley skin is most likely a launch skin. They know what they're doing and keeping some of the designs everyone wants as default and selling them as skins (Vengeance Psylocke, Master of Magnetism Magneto, MCU Wolverine)
