I see on X, etc. people are doing that tiresome "Hawkeye Initiative" bit that was already tired years ago on Tumblr, where they're going "oh but what if Iron Fist in Marvel Rivals was walking around with his chest exposed and wearing skimpy clothing? I bet you people wouldn't care for THAT sort of objectification, would you?!?"

The Hawkeye Initative in 2025? Sorry, folks, your kind already "won", your reward is nobody buys comics anymore. The makers of Marvel Rivals should pander to these people and make all of the characters look like they were in Concord. Too many Western comics people have been tripping over themselves to pander to the kinds of people who cry about "gooners" and such, and the average comics section in a bookstore I see keeps shrinking and shrinking until they are put on shelves no wider than my computer monitor, meanwhile Oda kept making his girls’ tits bigger and bigger.

"Good design" aside, this whole trend literally is just "non-westerners milking westerners for free money and marketing by putting in fat tits".

I've read a lot about these Chinese super studios that just mill out high quality games, or at least profitable ones. Imagine meeting in every day of the initial Rivals boom; "rook at reese white monkee argue about our game!". Literally just add tits and you get free exposure even if the game is dogshit. Fat white tits is the new canyoupetthedog.
