Marvel's been trying to boot the X-Men, and any other characters Fox has the film rights to, into the corner. It's a big reason why they're trying to make the Inhumans into this big deal, since they've basically turned them into not-mutants.

There's supposed to be an extreme focus on the MCU in this game, right down to the actual actors being involved, so don't count on many cult characters popping up on that side of things. Might see something ridiculous like Howard the Duck, though.

I hope Capcom tosses in Asura from Asura's Wrath. He's perfect for this sorta shit.

MvC1 was the first fighting game that i ever played, second being DBZ's Budokai Tenkachi 3. Seeing Marvel 4 being a reality and Marvel 3 getting a PC part makes me excited.

They say this will have a big cinematic story mode so it'll be neat to see a Capcom VS game have a real deep story line for once. Also if they're nixing the X-Men I hope they at least put in Spiderman since he's now in the MCU.

Marvel Vs Capcom 3 (Ultimate as well) was the best in the series for me.
Let's see if this'll top it.

I have never played MvC game mostly because I heard about the serie around UMvC3, but never could find it from a shop, sadly. Later I heard about all the shit what was going on with the copyrights and such, so I guess that was part of the reason. Althought I played X-men vs Street Fighter when I was just a child. I'm happy to see that they are going to release UMvC3 on pc and I hope, I seriously hope that the port is awesome and it finds a healthy player base so I can jump in and finally experience this game.

Here's the extended gameplay trailer showing off Morrigan and Captain America.

I doubt they'll be excluding mutants or Fantastic Four characters from this one. Even with the whole disputes with Fox, I feel characters like Wolverine, Storm, and Deadpool would be way too popular to remove from the next game

Supposedly the guy who leaked that MvC4 was happening recently said that X-Men and FF characters will be appearing as DLC. Personally, I usually am one to take these kinds of rumors with a grain of salt, but take of it what you will:

Man, I really hope the other Darkstalker regulars make a return as well. I like Morrigan, don't get me wrong, but the others are a lot more fun for me to play.

A MvC game on Steam with online play makes it an instant buy for me.

Felicia is baisically a shoe-in as she's been in pretty much every game that Morrigan is in but it would be nice to see more darkstalkers.
