She's just being nice to her future son in law. We all know this story ends when Chris & Anna get married, after Anna swears off china and comes over to the True & Honest path of Chris's duck, and they spawn Crystal to carry on Chris's legacy, kind of like little Forrest. In fact, like little Forrest, she'll probably be some crazy genius.

I think I see a white feather floating by.
Just like in the movie when Forrest first meets his son (supposing Chris meets her when she's like 5-6)

A choked up Chris, fighting back tears asks Anna "...but, is she, is she s-smart or is she-" putting his hand on his moob, motioning towards himself.

Anna stops Chris, looks up to him and says "Nope, not at all. Like father like daughter."

"Uurrgh" Chris stress sighs.

"Go on, go over." Anna tells Chris.

"I'm goin'" Chris whines and goes over and sits down next to Crystal, who is at the tv, "What are you watching?" he asks.

Crystal looks at her father, blankly, with the mental capacity of a refrigerator, then opens her mouth to speak.

"Oh, dis is sonic da hedgehog." Chris says, interrupting what would have been his daughter's first words, "Mm yeah, dis one der is da one, da one where, uh, S-Sonich- Sonic s-stops dat Robotnit's evil plan."

Pan over to Anna pulling her face out of her hand in disappointment to look over and see Barb hauling boxfuls of the hoard into Anna's apartment.
I hope Chris and Anna get married. That would be a funny twist in the story of Chris Chan. To bad even if it was possible Barb would do everything to stop it. If I was Chris I would put Barb in a nursing home.

Chris is being extremely disrespectful to Anna's mother. Maybe Anna's view of Chris as a victim who did nothing, and was trolled for being "different" will be shattered. Which would be kind of sad because Anna is the only person who is genuinely rooting for Chris. By being mean to Mary, Chris is shooting himself in the foot.

*Ahem.*

Can someone point me to where this is taking place.
I hate being left out of the loop, and this is the closest thing we'll probably get to an actual saga for quite some time.

Check out the imgur album and Chris's facebook page. It's marked June 24, and the most recent one: July 24.

Also, the other interactions that aren't documented on the imgur album can be found on Chris's facebook page.

Plenty of people have autism and are not ill mannered arseholes. The autism card was played by Bob to get his lazy son on wellfare.

My ten year old cousin is autistic and he's not prick, he's a nice wee guy who is well mannered and has good friends.

Autism is not a binary thing where you either have it or you don't and you'll exhibit the same symptoms no matter what. It's called the "autism spectrum" because it affects people in a pretty diverse set of ways with many different degrees of severity. There's a little saying that goes something like "if you've met a person with autism, you've met a person with autism." Your anecdote doesn't really prove much of anything, except that your little cousin is cool.

Nevertheless, what Chris is exhibiting is pretty darn typical of autistic individuals. I mean, maybe with good parenting and guidance from professionals an individual could overcome this sort of thing! Chris didn't have that luxury, and thus shouldn't be expected to bear the brunt of the blame for his maladjusted awkwardness.

What's more, Anna's mom is a non-autistic adult. I'm sure she knew what she was getting into when she decided to engage with Chris. I'm sure she can handle it. If not, well, that's a shame, but it's not some sort of tragedy that we should all lament and curse Chris for.

Why are you all so hung up on how he treated Anna's mom? He's fucking autistic. He probably has no idea how shitty he sounded while talking to her. Autistic people very frequently have problems with tact and empathy.

I swear, you all act like he's the antichrist because he was unduly snippy with someone, even though it's perfectly well established that he has a condition that prevents him from developing a complete set of social skills. Cut the guy some fucking slack.
If you find yourself wondering this you should be introduced to these to sites index.php this is a forum where people discuss everything Chris http://www.sonichu.com/cwcki/Main_Page and this is a wiki dedicated to detailing everything about him. We are hung up on everything about him and these are the things he's doing ATM.

Brother, Anna would just chalk it up to Autism and not to Chris being a self absorbed manchild who was coddled his whole life. The Hulkster hopes that happens, but is doubtful it will.

We also have many posters with autism who think Chris's responses were shitty. This isn't a autism thing. It's an asshole thing.

If you find yourself wondering this ...

k, lemme rephrase that:

Why is everyone treating this like some sort of outrageous and unbelievable crime when it's actually completely predictable, typical, and not particularly offensive given the context (autism), which everyone here should be perfectly aware of given their affinity for following all things related to Chris?

Being a thoughtless and self-centered fuckwit deserves calling out. Much like you being a clueless fuckwit.

Predictable? Yes. Typical for Chris? Yes.

So what, these responses were still asshole-ish.

Because Chris has very few friends and he's being a dick to one of their good intentioned mothers. That's what makes me interested in this. Also it reflects poorly on Anna for not saying anything. If she said something in private then Chris still isn't getting it and at this point she's kind of throwing her own Mom under the bus just to not annoy Chris.

Just because a shitty thing is expected, doesn't mean it deserves a pass.

It's still a shitty thing.

Sorry, not buying this. In the beginning of the father call, Chris made a very clear and deliberate effort to be tactful so he could make a good impression. He did the same thing (more or less) during the Miyamoto saga and he tried (albeit not very hard) to butter up to Snyder in the audio from when he tried to get back into the Game place. He knows how to be decent and he knows the importance of it, but he doesn't care. He doesn't care because he's an asshole, not because he's autistic.

The whole "Give Chris slack because of autism" defense doesn't really work when Chris's life is an example of how using that card can fuck up your life. Autism isn't a death sentence in regards to having a healthy social life. It's a hurdle and many people need help jumping over it. Because Chris has gotten the "He's autistic. Let it slide" response he's still sitting infront of a hurdle waiting for someone to pick him up and carry him over it. Meanwhile the other people with autism who had the proper support have had so much practice and experience that they're jumping every hurdle like they're in the motherfucking Olympics.

You make a pretty good counterargument, but I don't think it holds up to scrutiny, because the examples you give are also good examples of Chris not keeping his shit together while under pressure. He started out in good spirits because he was in good spirits; he thought things were going to go his way. There was nothing for him to fake at first.

As those scenarios progressed a normal person would be able to keep themselves collected, but he quickly lost his shit when things started getting difficult. He has terrible impulse control, and he has a very difficult time masking his emotions. Because he's autistic.

Ahh, so it's Mrs McLerran's fault for engaging Chris in the first place. Maybe she was not aware that Chris is an insufferable arsehole. Chris can be nice when he thinks he can get something for it so he is capable of choosing when to be good mannered and good natured. That fact that Mrs McLerran was giving him nothing useful meant she wasn't worthy of being treated with his respect. Chris is a prick and autism is not an excuse.

Sorry, but this doesn't apply to the real world.

Obviously, Mary Lee Walsh decided to get back in on the trolling and changed her identity in order to throw Chris off her trail and it bloody worked.

Well, all that really means is that Chris used to try to be tactful with people, but because he didn't get his ideal solution... he thinks it's now okay to just not be tactful.

See, he knew to fake tact because he understands it's necessary for dealing with people. But when it didn't give him what he wanted, he decided that the other person doesn't deserve it either.
