Masahiro Sakurai on Creating Games

This series must be exclusively enjoyed by autists and retards. I refuse to play this shit, I don't want my IQ - which is already quite low - to drop 20 points.
You're not missing out on anything. Playing online kills whatever fun this game had in the first place, and the single player aspect wll have you pulling your hair out if you're crazy enough to get all the achivemenets.

This is actually kind of cool, even as someone who doesn't give a flying fuck about smash bros.

You get mediocre devs giving out "advice" all the time, but it's really interesting to hear insight from someone who's actually made successful games, much less someone from as big of a company as Nintendo. It'll also be nice to hear insight about some of the games he's worked on from someone who's not a soylord on twitter, and who actually understands why things were implemented the way they were.

His first episode about the "Hit Stop" as he calls it was actually pretty informative and now that I've seen it I can't unnotice the effect, it's really neat that even the simplest of effects can be used to give hits more of a punch to them. Consider me interested in what the next episodes have to offer.

Hope he talks about meteos. He was given a vague task and knocked it out of the park.
Meteos appeared in his "Masahiro Sakurai's Creative Works" video so I'd say it's possible.
