This guy is amazing.

Toilet-based cooking and a collection of stories which all involve incest, hiding erections, and oh wait it's not incest after all, but maybe it is.

How does someone like this function at a real job and/or survive to adulthood? I'm compelled to find out more.

I'm curious as to what he looks like actually, when he isn't wearing a gas mask.
 
Ahhh, Masao, I love this guy. He's my first introduction to lolcows, even if I forgot about him once I discovered Chris.

This crazy Canuck will always have a place in my heart for being the perfect combination of disgusting, baffling, harmless to others, and semi-selfaware.

There's a scene Cheech and Chong's Nice Dreams where Cheech puts tortillas directly on electric stove burners. The Masaokis version actually manages to be a lot funnier.

I noticed that I made a reference earlier to "adding ingredients", but there hasn't been a video posted yet where he says that. As you'd expect, it involves dumping random disgusting shit into whatever disaster is currently unfolding.

Here's one of the more horrifying examples of "ingredients". Thankfully, he doesn't drink it, but he shares some typically bizarre stories, random access humor, etc.

All I have to say is "but WHY"?

In another video I saw him try to make cake in a pan. When that obviously didn't go as he planned it to he just threw crunched up cookies into the half-cooked cake mix and added oyster sauce. Why even?
 
In regards to the sausage video - some observations

1. I was not expecting the inside of his fridge to be spotless considering the squalor he lives in.
2. I can't believe he would consider eating a hotdog cooked over a candle flame- that isn't dirt on that dog, it's wax.
3. What a sad way to live

When I got into his videos a few years ago a consensus seemed to be that he's a paranoid schizophrenic or something akin to that who made the videos during his "episodes," but I don't remember exactly if it was somehow confirmed or just theories. You can tell that he's not just "goofy" though, he clearly has some sort of illness.
Also, there is (or at least was) a video of him going into the cellar under the house and he pointed out how some of the support beams had been propped up with junk in order to even hold the house up at all, so there was some suggestions that the house was actually condemned and he wasn't supposed to be there in the first place. Maybe he had a generator or something under the house too? Anyone remember?

He seems to hint in a later "clean house" video (don't remember which) at having some sort of degenerative disease, but I don't know how that would relate to his behavior, if at all. He's smart enough to avoid revealing personal information, so there's not much to go on.

The floor is rotted out under the toilet because it was leaking. I don't think it's really that bad, but he deleted his youtube account the first time around because he feared the video would get him evicted. He did some really shoddy improvised repairs (which is why the bathroom floor looks like shit), but eventually did, to his credit, actually manage to fix the toilet.

He seems to me like a weird combination of functional and dysfunctional. I don't know what he has but I'm assuming it fluctuates since he displays some amount of normal reasoning skills on occasion and from the way he talks he's obviously aware that the way he lives isn't the best lifestyle. Someone also pointed out that he appears to self-medicate with alcohol and I think they're right.

He might just have clinical depression that's been undiagnosed for so long that he's ended up alienated from the world and goes through long apathetic spells that result in surreal thinking. It's a long shot but I've known alcoholics who self-medicate with alcohol and other substances and they're very similar to him in their behaviours and lifestyles, they were mostly bipolar or had a serious amount of untreated depression.

It's difficult to pin point what he has when we've never seen him interact with others, since a lot of mental problems become evident through direct interaction. When he's just talking to himself on videos it's difficult to tell.

He's had this apartment since the time he was making the other videos. He was living between the apartment and his nasty house. So far he's kept it up since 2012. I wouldn't assume that he's going to fall back on old habits if he's managed to keep it nice for two years already.
