💀 Horrorcow Masaokis - Cooking with Hoarders

I admit, there's some cows I absolutely hate-watch. Then there's Masaokis, he's the complete opposite. I watch him because it's pleasant and relaxing and fun, even when I'm being horrified at his unorthodox cooking techniques in such filthy places.

Sounds like he's planning on doing another recipe from his cook book. Was very pleased with how his last dish worked out,
 
This man must be the inspiration for Alan Resnik (of Adult Swim’s Wham City Comedy). I always wondered where he got the idea to play a mentally deficient man making tutorials on the internet and today I learned. I don’t think anything can top the toilet steak video.
 
What a blast from the past this man is.
I'll justify my necroing by saying that STM passes are visible in some of his videos -- implying that he's either from Montreal and not QC City, or has frequent enough travel between them that montreal bus tickets are common pocket cruft but QC bus tickets are not (implying he has a car or some other form of transit within quebec city)
 
I wish he posted more content, a video every year or two is not enough! On a more serious note, this dude has many obvious mental problems but it seems in the newer videos he kind of has his shit together in an apartment that isn't a trash pile. I'm new here so I'm sorry if this has been previously discussed but I have read he is erstwhile lawyer or something.

Out of any internet personality I find Mas the most intriguing. I want to know what his story is.

He's talking about the Wikipedia page for Antonio Di Benedetto being wrong. He tells the real story. Thinks whoever filled in the Wikipedia saw his video before posting the article. Drains his bath which is filled with dirty dishes and apologizes for not posting a video in nearly a year. Talks about video games versus real life. Says he was diagnosed autistic last summer which he says explains why his place is always so messy. He bought a book about Asperger's to get some tips.

I'm so glad Masao is back. Hopefully he starts uploading more frequently.
 
I struggle to accept Masaokis as autistic; obviously he's got some deficiencies but he doesn't come across like any autistic person I've seen. The way he talks and things he talks about seem fairly normal and if it weren't for the dirty dishes and rubbish floating in the bathtub no one would call him more than eccentric.

I mean, he acts extremely autistic. There may be other diagnoses but autism doesn't surprise me. He is more lucid at times likely due to being on medication. Not everyone with autism acts like forest gump
