Shit, it was kind of disheartening seeing just how bad things were there at one time. The drenched bathroom and mold, the infestations. Him also saying how he'd want to clean but then look and just be overwhelmed and feel like he couldn't and would have to another day kind of hurt too.
Guess it never seemed that bad to me since I always considered he has another property or two so it must be by choice or kind of deliberate or staged.
Really hope he can keep the place clean(er) now.

I am glad he has a sense of humor about his minor internet fame. But I hope he doesn't find the end of the cafe latte video. His perfectly timed scream as it cuts out is top quality.

Also, more knives, toys, smashing things.

I love these kinds of videos or parts like these the most, more than him cooking. Like when he'd sit down and show the gameboy/Mortal Kombat, Wii U games, books.
Can pretty much fall asleep to them. Beats foil crinkling in the mic or a metal fork scraping against a pot as he stirs something.

Apparently he's some rather rich Canuck lawyer, and this is actually his second home or something.

It's rather 50/50 if this is some really dedicated performative autism, or a high-functioning autist that knew to keep his hoarding inclination in a safe place.

He found out he has asperghers a couple of months ago and talked about it. Video in ITT so probably the second one

There is footage in other apartments like the sambuca pizza but i cant believe the lawyer thing anymore. He is finally opening up to fans though so who knows what will come to light.
 
It's been so long since I watched any of his stuff. I remember him trying to cook meat on the seat of his toilet with a paper and a lighter also him taking off the floor tiles in his bathroom because they cracked and seeing the crummiest, disgustingly damp floor imagenable.
Even a cockroach would be too disgusted to live in that house.

The fairly regular trips to Italy also add to him seeming possibly well off and mentally there, too.
I do believe Masao is legitimate but the details nag at you still. If he's this goofy, with the weird writings, daydreaming and the relative cluelessness it makes the lawyer or successful career stuff a hard sell, even if he's functional enough to keep his hoarding problems limited to one house. Unless his mental state only got particularly bad after he had done well for himself. I haven't ever looked into the supposed dox floating around of his that proves his legal profession, so I don't even know his age or anything either.

This is what makes him one of my favorite lol cows. He is so endearing and lovable in his kitchen escapades. Nearly every other lol cow is an arrogent narc but this guy is lovable to me.
 
I'm willing to believe he's a lawyer. I've met some incredibly intelligent people that are absolute retards outside of anything academic.
 
I love Masaokis (Masochist?). Truly eccentric but seemingly non harmful to others. Perhaps he should get a new tag "Mysterycow". Horrorcow seems wrong in light of the Jonathan Yanivs and zoophiles on this webzone
 
i remember his cooking vids from ages ago. the "i spy" fun and easter eggs like a piece of toast floating in the toilet, no commentary on it. background details. gettin philosophical about moldy peaches. creative combinations with hot dogs.

still tragic how his lifestyle was, and really glad he's better now. but maaaan those early videos were a ride. wow.

also i didn't know much about the "bony monsters" thing until yesterday, and i had a solid irl laugh!!

I agree about the classification. He reminds me a lot of Ulillillia - people like him because he's out there, but generally don't seem to wish ill on him or necessarily view him in a negative light beyond being a slob.
Masao's not selfish or ruining other peoples lives, just living with his quirks.
Ulillillia's thread doesn't even seem to have a tag and it's in General Discussion, which surprises me. No one actively tries to really 'milk' Masao either, just wait for him to put out his own stuff and become happy when he does so.

I remember the old ED article on Ulillillia being pretty much devoid of any insults or malicious information gathering and it ended with something corny to the effect of "this is probably the only sincere article you'll come across on this site, don't fuck with him, let him evolve like the beautiful butterfly he is" lol. I think that can easily apply to a lot of people's feelings on Masao as well.

Masao bought a camera so he can look at his old video tapes. He found the original café Latte video and says he will re-upload once his cable arrives. He bought another camera to view the other kind of tapes he has too.

Now, I know ornery chihuahuas, and it's actually fucking impressive Masao has all his fingers from his time in Italy.
The Cafe Latte video didn't even looked like it included much more so it shouldn't ruin too many peoples endings to it hopefully.
I'm interested in the egg hockey.
