I think that glamour shot everyone was passing around when they made the announcement was misleading - you can't see the goblin nose as well from the front. Rossi also has much more similar lips to Ryder than the cosplay chick.

Does anyone know who was the reference for the original (and IMO much better) Ryder model?

Even if it looks better it still doesn't look like Jayde Rossi.

But I'm inclined to agree about the bad model theory along with the bad lighting. Or at most some attempt to cross Jayde Rossi with PiggyNukka. But I doubt it. I mean I still have a tiny sliver of respect for Bioware.

Most people after finishing college and getting a license settle into a more sedentary lifestyle, while still eating the same stuff they ate as a more active growing teenager. Many don't have the discipline to change their whole diet or have a regular exercise program. You can see Momokun for a textbook example.

Many are just concerned about going to cons, drinking, finding hot cosplay guys and banging all weekend.

So the random female cosplayer who was the face animator might have used a random female cosplayer for the face animation of the female MC?

I think it is a perfect shitstorm of all. Intentional SJW uglying, animator without skills, and trying to base it on the Piggy girl. All of this settling into a giant shitstorm of a bad game.

Ryder is particulary jarring due to how ugly her face is and how bad the animations are.

Seems like my local walmart hasn't sold out their original shipment yet, from talking to the guy that works the game section. It never sold out like other new releases did (Horizon Zero Dawn, and No Man's Sky both did, as did the original ME trilogy).

About 3 days after release I counted 9 copies for PS4 on the shelf, 12 for xbox. Yesterday there were 6 PS4 copies, 10 xbox.

Also, where there were signs encouraging buyers to pay extra for the deluxe edition, there are now signs encouraging you to buy some Totinos pizza rolls when you buy the game for some sort of discount.

God I hope the downloable DLC is just a Mr. Plinkett voice track for every character.

I know the first DLC bonus pack you could pay the extra $10 for was just some junk for multiplayer, a casual outfit for Ryder to wear around the ship and indoor areas, and a pet pyjak space monkey that could live on your ship.

Now if you buy the game plus some pizza rolls it gives you discounts and XP for multiplayer. Just useless stuff.

One could brush this off as easter eggs, but finding those usually entails deviating from the path of beating the game. So either this is some oh so funny wink wink content by the masterminds that brought you "my face is tired", or an easter egg hunt for speds, where everyone's a winner.

I am now just glad that Mickey Mouse is keeping the Sith out of this mess.

Also, there may be a demo version out there now. I'm not sure if it is a real demo version or fake, but in case you want to get autism for free, I'll update with my findings in a day or two.

It is not fake. Let the glorious autism commence.
