Aren't the Council races older than the Humans though?
Not by as much as you'd think. A cycle is 50,000 years. 50,000 years is actually not very long on an evolutionary timescale. The first anatomically modern humans are estimated to have emerged around 300,000 years ago. Humans had been around for 200,000 years when the races that preceded the Protheans were exterminated.

Chuddy gem I came across on YT
>female shepard
>chuddy

pick one and just one.
Given what Javik the Prothean says about the Asari having been genetically modified by them in the previous cycle I propose that they were meant to be a literal sex toy slave race that they tried to jury rig into a Reaper fail-deadly weapon.

It literally explains everything about them.
he also recognizes quarians as incredibly hot if you bang tali.

i mean element zero infusion does help with the evolution thing... but the reapers designs is some quarian/geth shit calculated relation, it takes about 50K years before the self killing because one of the retarded spacefaring races started doing clanker slavery while letting the machines become intelligent-eventually-self-aware phase so they up for reapin' and the reapin' process is meant to be slow in a way because the reapers need to check for tech advancements in all races in the milky way, the ones that are spacefaring are marked for death, as shrimple as that.

spacefaring related, yes, they don't go overall age development though with protheans having their dick on everyone's grandma as javik mentions.

And that's why Javik is my nigger

See e.g. forcing every other species to public domain any Prothean tech they find, while the Asari sat on the motherload of Prothean tech and kept it a state secret. Mass Effect's setting could actually be a lot more fun if you removed the whole Reaper thing and focused more on how the Council is actually fucking evil and deserve to have their shit pushed in.
Javik straight-up calls them out on that shit. In case Plan A (he and his bunker bros) failed the Asari were to be Plan B, and so a bunch of tech was left there so the Asari could unite and prepare the galaxy against the Reapers.

But instead they just hoarded it all to ensure nobody could ever catch up to them, guaranteeing dominance yet never sharing it with the rest of the galaxy, either peacefully or through conquest.

Even the launcher of ME1 has more sovl than the entirety of Andromeda. Helps that the music is so good.
So far in my replay of the ancient original mass effect, this shit still rocks. All the little quests are fun and interesting, and in all of them you can be a complete asshole if you want. Modern games could never.
I don't know if sharing tastes with a roachman is the win you think it is.
He may be a literal bugman, but he's a cool bugman that kicks ass. Helps that there are no other protheans around to drag his race down.

True. ME:A didn't even allow you to make actual decisions. The dialogue wheel was worthless, all you could do was pick a different tone of the same answer.

Male Shepard is fucking boring.
don't female shepards get fucked by javik if you don't romance anyone? lol.
as male shepard i can bang that reporter chick even if i have a romance, way better than tranny shepard.
Idk all the hate on Javik, i like him.
Maybe is the Jamaican accent ala Little Jacob from GTA IV but well.
javik is just obnoxious in my cycle typa nigga, i haven't seen anyone proclaim their hate for him directly, just hate towards the fact that his DLC is needed.

ME:A gameplays show that the game is pretty much a ubislop open world going back to ME1 stuff, minus the horrible driving from mako, i might pirate it just to see if it's empty as it looks like all of the videos you can find on it doesn't show the side stuff you can do but the game hints.

ME:A was like a reboot, the ME1 of a new trilogy but with no interesting character or story. It was nice to finally be able to explore the planets again but it wasn't as fun as in ME1. The replacement for the Mako had no weapons, just like the replacement for the Normandy (yeah, they unironically went to another galaxy with no weapons to defend themselves). Back in the day when people said that the goal of the Andromeda Initiative was to send all the retards of the Milky Way elsewhere, they weren't kidding.
You should try ME:A just to see how bad Bioware fucked up, it's at every level possible.

The only thing I will give Andromeda is that its zones were more fun to explore than Inquisition but it is amazingly worse in every other aspect. Compare the Aliens in ME1 to it, the detail, the design. Andromeda feels like an alpha test for a Mass Effect clone that doesn't understand any of the gameplay features or setting that made the ME games stand out

The difference between Shepard and Ryder alone is enough of a reason to hate the game. It doesn't matter how you play Ryder, how you make him look, they act like a teenage retard faggot. Meanwhile Shepard is a badass from scene one and acts like it. Shepards crew is also full of competent and well trained characters, they've all got character flaws but they basically all act reasonably. The Andromeda crew are almost all retards with no self control.
Whoever wrote Liam in particular should be drowned in a septic tank.

It's worth the 0 dollars needed to pirate it, but do yourself a favor and install a damage increasing mod so there are fewer complete aids bullet sponges. I can't believe some "people" liked the combat in that game, it was the worst out of all the ME games by far in my objectively correct opinion.

...and Shepard and his team don't need an AI chip in their head to be competent.
I said it before but I hate how you are not allowed to question the presence of the AI at the core of every ark. AI research was still illegal when they left the Milky Way galaxy. There's a side quest about it with a group of people who want to shut it down but Ryder is not allowed to side with them, despite knowing the risks of such technology.

inquisition's zones are liquid shit because it draws from DA2, i mean origins also has a couple of aids regions but they made it worse on DA2 with the constant repetition, inquisition has little repetition outside the DLC island but the areas manage to be shite for some reason, like WTF BIOWARE.

i mean shepard's VA also did a good job, i'll see if i can torrent andromeda but the AI sounds like a fucking bored tranny and all the video it shows up it speaks more than ryder, meanwhile i was replaying ME2 and got to replay this part:
it's fucking awesome, i'll see if i can get my shepard to say even more insane shit when picking that paragon option against vasir, also read the video's comments, good shit too.

The AI is mainly there because the developers (and fans of ME:A) are complete retards and needed someone yelling at them all the time about where to go/what to do next. "Press the giant blinking shiny red button to progress, Ryder" because the developers are dumb and frankly the game design was also terrible.

ME1 needed you to push the occasional button - remember Feros where you get rid of a few Geth ships - but it was much more organic, a problem solving exercise with your squad and the Normandy crew. That was good game design.

ME1 had bullet sponges called Krogan but they were fun and satisfying to kill. ME:A had whatever those assholes with the orbs were, and you had to keep killing the orbs, then the enemy a bit, then the orbs again, etc. What a fucking stupid idea.

Ah, the resurrection making Renegade Shepard basically a Terminator is one of my favorite visual clues in the game.

Mark Meer is mediocre-to-good in ME1 but starting with ME2 & ME3 he's awesome. I think is just experience in voice acting.
Anyways, there's one epic line from ME1:
