I'm not exactly sure what you're on about (lax enforcement of curfew violations?), but mass shootings (even the kind where it's a couple of gangs having it at) are so rare in Maine that they shouldn't influence what children are allowed to do and when pretty much at all. Yes, that includes being able to use firearms.I'm also pissed that every parent i know will be using this to justify keeping their kids in a bubble and isolating them and therefore themselves while also whining about how "kids don't play outside like they used to" Then i'm the asshole because i'm the type that would let their kids yell and beat each other up and run around and scrape their knees in the neighborhood "even with all the stuff you see in the news about shootings"
