I listened to the josh/dsp convo and I don't really understand where people are coming from when they say DSP "defended" this guy. Like josh said in the mati after, Dsp probably just sees it as "$20 is $20" and honestly wouldn't it be better that a guy like derich funnels all of his money into DSP's WWE gacha whatevers? As opposed to him saving his money and somehow utilizing it on, you know?
Like say you had a pretty solid idea that your neighbor was a pedo, and one day you saw him bringing in groceries. You notice he has a box of hamburger helper. Is it really worth your time and energy to call up hamburger helper and somehow try to ban the guy from buying it? Cuz that's whats going on here. You're not even banning derich from shopping at walmart (youtube), you're just stopping him from buying one product at the supermarket. Like is every brand supposed to have officials at every retail store to do background checks to make sure pedos aren't giving them money?
If action has to be taken, it should be like calling the cops on your neighbor if you actually have evidence. To go with Josh's own reasoning for not deleting the dsp section, those people are just gunna retreat into the shadows and do their thing from there. At least when this guy is in dsp's chat you know he's busy giving money and spamming or whatever, and not offending. If you hate Phil, then I don't see how getting this guy out of his community is a W either. You've essentially slapped him on the wrist and told him to be more careful about what he's doing.
It doesn't seem like actually giving a shit about the existence of a pedo at all, it just comes off as pointless virtue signaling that accomplishes nothing good.
