Mathew is another TGWTG/Channel Awesome refugee, where he was a moderator on the boards and also achieved some very moderate success with his 'Bad Movie Beatdown' series of reviews, where he did the standard angry review schtick on C-tier action movies and the odd bad comedy.
However after a while Buck decided it was time to move on from that and created 'Projector'. This project had a good premise, where Mathew would just do a standard review of films that were released in the UK first. Sadly he didn't account for the fact that a lot of the movies that get released in the UK first tend to be home-grown stuff that don't really grab an audience in the same way a fuck off huge blockbuster would. Plus the fact that he doesn't really have the charisma to pull off a dry review show.
He also has a habit of crying whenever the world doesn't go his way, where his usual reaction is to point, cry and hide in his room.
Brexit was fun:
And that earned a sick burn from Welshy (Independence Day: Resurgence had been released on the same day as the Brexit vote)
And the recent Kung Flu pandemic has lead to a lot of moaning about how the government is treating cinemas and how that means he doesn't matter because he can't have another hobby, only watching movies.
Mathew also has a nasty habit of throwing away any opportunities that gets thrown towards his failing show he supposedly loves and depends on.
Also, he's bald. And he didn't go bald with dignity.
Only recently has he taken the advice to grow a beard but he still hasn't shaven the rest of that barnet.
There is also some Film Brain lost media out there from when he did NerdQuest. One of the other stars was Dick Bush, a porn critic/director. He was allegedly working on a film and Buck freaked out. MikeJ, Welshy, Bush and Ashens found this funny and made a video of them tormenting Buck with some vanilla straight porn where he was legit disgusted and looked like he was going to be sick.
