last night's weekly sweat was boring regardless how I feel about them I would admit if it was fun to watch but it wasnt. beardson simply is not a good content creator. he just gets views leeching off of nick & pretending to be a christian.

Plumbers and pipe fitters are hard fucking workers. I mostly am exposed to and work alongside the guys in the commercial field so I don’t know how residential types are but overall in any trade, guys who do commercial work make more money and usually have to do harder shit.

I say all this to say: I genuinely could not even begin to imagine Beardsoy digging a trench (by hand with a shovel, because you don’t wanna take out the existing 1” poly gas line with a excavator), trying to lift and replace a big ass cast steel water pump for a cooling tower/air handler, or even demo’ing an old toilet to install a new one if he’d just be on the resi side of things(I’d love to see what his reaction would be to all the roaches coming out the septic pipe). If he couldn’t hack it at fucking Best Buy and he barely puts any effort in with his merch or his streaming, he’d throw in the towel on a plumbing apprenticeship. He would probably either quit or get fired on the first day because he wouldn’t stop looking at his phone and he’d be smoking more than working. Not to mention he’s most likely not physically strong or possessing of enough stamina to not be a drag on productivity.

Don’t get me wrong, I interact with a lot of turd herders and other tradesmen who don’t give a fuck about a racist or “transphobic” joke if it’s funny enough, but that’s not gonna get Beardsoy through a whole 8 if his work ethnic and his attitude are shit.
