So after bouncing between a number of different movements, looking for whatever marginal internet people will tolerate him, Forney seemed to find his place with the TradCath crew. Calling people gay had been his go-to insult for a few years, but I just noticed this on his Twitter page:

Sounds like he's become too marginal/too embarassing for even the catboys to embrace anymore.

In other news, Forney is still seething over Richard Spencer. See the last few lines of his terrible poem. All over Spencer rejecting him on Twitter, years ago. When he announced his recent policy of being less present online, he seemed to want to give off the impression that he was too busy with his real life to care. Instead, he is obsessed with minor exchanges that happened on social media over half a decade ago. Truly pathetic. How's that retirement going, Forney?

Is this a moment of actual self-reflection, or just an attempt to sell more books?

If this does signal a genuine moment of self-reflection on Forney's part, then I honestly say good for him; better late than never, although I've got to be honest and admit that the cynic in me is inclined to think that this sudden display of empathy is rather more self-serving than that, and may more likely be motivated by a need to give himself an out for something which is about to be revealed at a later late.

I wonder, could it be that his old erotic fiction told from the perspective of a submissive Christian housewife was decidedly more revelatory than he initially let on, and that his recent softening towards queerness is him beginning to come to terms with that? If so, things are about to get interesting.

He is a miserable little toad. Even if he ever apologizes to Ann I'd have a hard time accepting it as genuine years after the fact. He's spent too many years assuming roles online, from the spanking blog to the Male Fide bullshit. This more open-minded Forney is probably just another role he is playing to make himself seem less horrible, hoping to branch out into more accepting spheres now that the more trad believers have distanced themselves from him. I don't think he is capable of genuine change or remorse. He just periodically pivots to try to inveigle his way into new groups when he wears out his welcome.

This is not the first time Matt has done this, pretending to be something else in order to boost his image. He had a blog entry discussing why he was done with the pick up artist/borderline incel misogyny that defined some of his peers, only to wage his disgusting smear campaign against Ann, using the same ideas he said he was done with. Fuck him. I wouldn't believe anything he says about himself or his thoughts.

People still have screenshots of Forney's casual boasting that he raped Ann and the only reasons they have not been weaponized to completely wreck him in the conservative sphere are that his utter failure as a man and human being have done most of the job already and because Ann moved on and wants to forget he exists.

Ann was the closest thing he had to a woman who genuinely liked him and cared about him, and, while it was more along the lines of drugged-out friends with benefits for her, she was still kinder to him than any woman ever has been and ever will be and when it became clear she did not share the depth of feeling he felt, he did all he could to break her financially and emotionally. His mockery and denial of the unrelated assault she suffered in Chicago got rubbed in his face when DNA identified the man and he was sent to prison, and it was shortly after that that he really began to quiet his presence online. There's very little he could say or do to rehabilitate himself where his actions against Ann are concerned.

I've always thought of Forney as a bitter troll, but this paragraph really puts into perspective how heinous--and sad--he really is. It's hard to think that a real human being has an entire life to live this way.

Matt Forney has written a blog post trying to clear his name. Apparently, he was featured in a Netflix documentary recently. He tries to frame his whole online persona as a character he created to get attention. Despite having given up on being an "online hustler," he still apparently sees value in defending what is left of his image. I'm guessing that money is tight for him, and he really needs the pennies he makes off of Terror House Publishing material.

"Prior to starting Terror House in 2018, I was primarily known for being a writer/blogger/journalist associated with the alt-right."

He was probably most well-known for being associated with the "manosphere." I guess he wants us to forget that phase.

This is the first time I've seen this excuse that his old writings were all based on some kind of formula for writing viral articles. I think the better explanation is that those were the writings of a man who was angry at a society that had rejected him, so he joined a political group, until that group eventually humiliated and rejected him as well.

You spent years calling people "sodomites." If you didn't actually have a problem with LGBT people, that is even worse than actually believing it, in a way.

Anyway, most of this is old news. He's trying to reframe things in a novel way. If anyone cares to read it, I doubt they will be convinced.

Looks like Fatt Forney has learned nothing. Not that anyone here expected any less. He is a piece of shit to the very core of his sad, pathetic existence. Let’s run down the different eras of Fatt Forney:

  1. Manosphere blogger who pretended to be a woman, I’m sure while typing left handed
  2. Sexpat who coincidentally lived in places known for human trafficking
  3. Unrepentant rapist
  4. Alt right blogger who other people in the alt right couldn’t stand, at which point he attempted to throw under the bus to save his gargantuan ass
  5. Traditional Catholic who other tradcaths couldn’t stand (I’m noticing a trend here…)
  6. Publisher of books that maybe sell a few dozen copies at most each
  7. Reformed rightist that others can’t stand (definitely a trend here…)
He will always be a piece of shit that nobody likes because he’s an inherently unlikeable guy. I don’t think he’s ever capable of doing something that doesn’t benefit him in some way, especially with respect to sex or power. He’s destined to have neither which is never going to change.

Common Filth is a nondenominational e-Christian, not a TradCath. In fact, he hates the Roman Catholic church.

In any case, these continuous disavowals he's done for the past year and a half are all vain attempts to sell his brand to a wider audience. Nobody's buying because the appetite for shit-tier literary smut just isn't there, and even by those standards, Terror House's contributors are mediocre at best.

Does anyone here read the stories published at Terror House Mag? Matt claims that his publishing company is apolitical and will publish across the political spectrum, but I wonder how true this is. I once tried to get into it, but it seemed like it was just a bunch of sexual fetishists writing about their sex fantasies.

I got a free PDF of Bad Billy Pratt’s book, Welcome to Hell, and I remember back when I had a slight tolerance for Tucker Max-style “you had to be there, bro” stories but that’s gone now. It managed to be every bit as fictitious as a Tucker Max story but with added sociopolitical bloviating as insult to injury. The only reason why I even bothered was his essays about Casey Anthony killing her daughter so she could thot it up without having to have any responsibility and the multitude of white women (who else?) who defended Casey every step of the way.

I guess that’s a half response and half review but most of what gets published is awful. Wouldn’t be surprised if Fatt Forney was pretending to be multiple authors so that way there’s more than one or two books published a year.
