Just imagine thinking "fictional character made property X" is the best way to cope with the fact property's author has disagreeable opinions or is a bigot. Could at least pretend you enjoying the thing pissed off the person you hate, slightly less delusional and allows you to confront the fact not all the cool things you like are made by cool people who would like you.
I adore how Myer's go-to approach is just labelling everyone he dislikes a gater because that's all he still cares about.

I think they specifically use Hatsune Miku because she's just a face for a voice in a music program, and thus is incapable of doing anything wrong because she's a holographic pop star with a robot voice. She can literally say and do anything the user desires. She's a digital puppet.

One could do that but then why do that when making use of some meme that likely is forced. No joke, the "Miku made x" meme is pretty much unfunny like the rest and is known only for people using it because of Notch having views they don't like.
If Miku were used to spam things like "there are only two genders" and pro-Trump slogans, one could imagine some people getting themselves wrapped up in the tism where it's using Miku to churn out forced lefty memes and forced right-winger memes.

I also like how if they don't like the creator of something, they change the creator. Because otherwise they might have to stick to some of their professed morals and perhaps stop playing Minecraft, stop worshipping Harry Potter, and actually take part in a boycott that means something, rather than their usual nonsense involving not doing something they were never going to do anyway.

It's unfunny because it's based on the utterly infantile SJW notion of going "la la la" and putting your fingers in your ears and literally pretending someone "problematic" doesn't exist and their accomplishments don't exist because they said one thing that they don't like.
