Twitter has more kings of bad takes than Saudis have princes.
I can understand his argument, to an extent - furries in general have a lot of LGB and Ts, for decades now, and people who hate gays are likely to hate furries for that too, using all sorts of sexual deviant stereotypes about them similarly to how gays were historically associated with being rapists and pedophiles.
Problem is he's fighting generalisations with generalisations. It's embarrassing really, there's a hundred ways to fire back by saying it's same as claiming all weebs are pedos, or pointing out how (most of) furries are hostile to bestiality and anyone who gets outed as animal abuser. But no, all he could go with was using the same reasoning the guy he's replying to did, just to associate furries with a protected group and not perverts.

Please, subculture rivalries is nothing new, of course its stupid but when you have a lot of young people with certain interest of course they'll get tribalistic in contact with another group.
Also I'm not sure why Myers is saying this, he's perfectly fine with irrational subculture conflicts as long as he perceives one of them as "woke" and another as "shitlords", just look at his position on gamers. It's same case of perceptions being shaped by a fraction of a group, but dude wants to have enemies to own online so he once more gives in to reasoning he previously decried.
