That's always just depressing. Why can't they just use a thick curtain to block the light when they need to and move it aside to get some sun? Putting a black cardboard with tape like some sort of 4chan meme post is extreme shut in behaviour in my opinion.

Viper I've mainly known over the years for his constant whining about react content being bad. I've agreed with some points he's made in the past, particularly for when creators would just churn out lazy react content that gets rewarded with tons of views for what amounts to minimal input. But even when I have agreed with the guy on certain points, this hardline stance he takes against anyone who uses his content for giving context, on top of his propensity to engage in petty online squabbles, makes it so hard to not dislike the guy for being such a dickhead.

I think a lot of people would probably agree with him if he wasn't such a spaz. His stance on react content was quite fair when it was just focused on shitty streamers watching videos on stream without saying anything. The main problem was the retarded sexual assault analogy and when he started DMCAing everyone for legitimate criticism.

The problem with Matt is that he exaggerates everything so much. React content = rape. Trolling on a speedrun forum = worse than losing a loved one. Getting beaten in a challenge run = life ruined. If he approached things with a little more tact, he wouldn't get into as much shit as he does now.

That's all I know of the guy, he made one fairly well received video then did a rug pull as far as I'm aware, maybe he's known for other stuff but not to me.

Also interesting to note how much dissent there is in his own community. And this commenter is right, 2020 was DarkViper's prime. Dude was pumping out quality content and had his biggest growth that year. His fans still circulate the same exact memes that were made 4 years ago, nothing original or genuine has come out of that community in years.
