Did not expect DarkViperAU's girlfriend to be Venezuelan, thought she was Filipino. She got doxxed in such a dumb way but I guess at the time when Matthew tagged her account he thought nothing of it and didn't think there could be potential consequences for his decision on the matter.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gives a DSP-esque reason for going so public with her. "I tried to warn her but she insisted on becoming a part of muh community!".

But how the fuck did these two end up together? I've never seen a couple less compatible than these two. I understand the logic of opposites attracting and it does look like she's forced him out of his cocoon, but it still boggles my mind. She's this annoying shrieking latina and he's a reclusive speedrunner with mild Asperger's. He used to talk about how the only way he imagined himself getting a girlfriend was by dating another streamer. And he hasn't exactly been secretive about his lack of success on dating apps either, so this comes across as him being desperate to settle down. Maybe I'm being shallow but she's not attractive at all. Dude could have done a lot better if he wasn't such an aspie.

That contradicts his prior explanations for why he didn't sue. It used to be "I can totally afford to sue and I would, but they don't even have enough money to collect to cover my legal fees!"

In what universe does a lawyer, unprompted, watch a livestream where a person calls their client an autistic retard and utterly humiliates them? What damage would be done to a firm that handles higher profile, and more profitable cases on a daily basis? My uncle and brother in law are attorney's, if Matt was their client they wouldn't entertain this shit for a second because it'd be laughed off immediately. People criticizing you and making fun of you over things you've done and said doesn't constitute defamation in the way someone calling you a pedophile or heroin addict (with zero evidence) would. No lawyer would willingly sign up to defend this jackass unless they're a public defender and Matt was under investigation for the murder of his Venezuelan gf.
