The secret being: IA used to be have a TF2 channel named WAMO that he melted the fuck down over self made drama, backstabbed all his friends and other TF2 creators and started sending out fake and gay copyright/harassment strikes for things like, and I'm not joking, "fatphobia" and transphobia. He got run out of the TF2 community, abandoned the channel and started the IA channel. Now he blocks anyone who asks him if he's WAMO. IA channel is the exact same content mill, slop videos as WAMO channel was.

Unfortunately between TF2 content being predominately gen z turbo aids shit, this taking place 2-3 years ago, and WAMO (IA) still trying to scrub his history it has led to it being hard to follow.

For instance this video goes over some of it but you can see in the comments the creator confirming IA contacted him a year ago (1-2 years after the drama and him abandoning the channel) to get him to remove it.

From my memory, WAMO was just a low effort TF2 content farm with a sizable subscriber count who people shit on, so he tried to switch to drama and swung for the fences against a slightly 'controversial' creator named ZestyJesus with this video as his opening salvo (he'd go on to delete it later). The soy can practically be tasted through the video. Zesty would respond and BTFO IA which would leave him malding for a year while more and more videos got made back and forth. IA then started sending copyright strikes and harassment complaints which just made it worse. Ultimately he'd ruined his rep so badly he had to just disappear and start up IA channel.

Unfortunately as soon as he hit 100k subscribers on IA he accidentally posted the celebratory tweet announcing it on the wrong fucking twitter account exposing himself as WAMO.

Playing the DMCA game is like swinging a 9-Iron at a hornet's nest with no lube. No amount of GeoGuesser is going to save Matt's reputation if he keeps this up.

We all hammered *that* point in thoroughly though. What boggles me is that GTA 6 is coming out in a year or two, yeah? You'd think he'd make a full effort to pivot, being an obsessive algorithm sperg, but I guess he needs to have the last word.

Im also a bit confuddled as to why Matto isnt being outed for pulling a Mundane Matt; even Moist Critikal sniffs around for even the smallest instances of a copystrike, and its the number one, unspoken cardinal sin amongst every YouTuber.

I get that Chud Logic didn't see the benefit in pursuing legal action, but youd think someone would speak up after Matt hit Internet Anarchy. Maybe it's just raising the issue isnt worth the headache of Matt's fans brigadeing and clogging the comments.
