Matthew Prince lied.

I wonder if some larger entity like payment processors or government officials threatened cloudflare with some punitive action for his original decision to not take kiwifarms down.

Matthew's complete heel face turn statement 48 hours after this original decision feels like an act of pure desperate panic.

That wouldn't just be the pressure of Twitter trannies spamming his tweets with quote retweets whining like pathetic little children or heaven forbid, an angry email campaign.

No this is more like sudden fear. Like something threatened to decimate their stocks or disrupt their services on a massive scale, kind of fear.

I can only speculate, but I'd put money on some more powerful entity stepping in from above to MAKE Matthew change his decision
No doubt in my mind that Klaus himself might have made a Red Alert style Yuri-phonecall. Im only 20% kidding, they really, really want to control 100% of the narrative to the point where they can't even let 20,000 autismos laugh at crazy people in peace.

There is zero gratitude from the trannies, autogynephiles and groomers he was trying to appease. The line seems to be ‘to little too late’ and overall sentiment that a cloudflare boycott is still justified.
Once you bend and give an inch, these people will want to take a mile. Given the way Prince phrased that pile of garbage explanation he gave, he wants the best of both worlds. One where he can stand by his "principles" to never be intimidated by the mob to turn sites off, but also get rid of the site because of the pressure put on him.

I don't think Lucas himself is talking to anyone. It would not surprise me if he used the GFM (or the half he didn't embezzle lol) to hire a PR firm who put together this ridiculous campaign. PR firms will do insanely scummy things (look up Bell Pottinger for a modern example, or Edward Bernays who wrote the book on PR) for their client, so it wouldn't surprise me if they gave Lucas all the ideas like "fleeing" to Ireland and astroturfing this campaign against Kiwifarms and Cloudflare hence the sudden blitz of articles about him (PR firms and journalism are joined at the hip). Likely they have done some serious pressure behind the scenes legally on Cloudflare.

Sounds like Kotaku is hosting imminent and emergency threats to human life right there, better take them down ASAP.
That is an interesting take. Again, though, it takes time to craft those statements and the Cloudflare statement was very specific, so there must've been some kind of communication between Keffal (or his PR team) and the company. The timing of the note, the location of the post on 4chan, and the post with the burner account are all too perfectly put together in the space of time in congruence with the timing of the statement being released (also on the labor day weekend). There is WAY more happening behind the scenes, because that statement dropped so fast and on a Saturday (I think it is Saturday in America).

It really needs to be emphasized how these self-proclaimed "seasoned internet veterans" and supposed og oldfags and "people that dig through the dirtiest parts of the internet" or whatever the fuck retard journos proclaim as the truth, call this The Worst Site to Ever Exist.

Have they ever been on the god damn internet? You stumble across heinous shit while actively trying to avoid it.

There are literal, violent terrorist recruiting sites. Gore. So much gore. So much so that people are numb to it. The abuse of elderly, abuse of children, abuse of animals. Glorified. The fucking dens of jailbait child porn Reddit hosted for years. The seemingly endless sites smugly toeing the line of child abuse and legal "art"/pornography, fluent in loopholes and regional laws. So much violence, and sexual violence, getting into younger and younger minds. I'm decently damn sheltered out of my own efforts to be. There's so much worse that gets hosted and protected, that toes the line of legal or is socially acceptable in grey areas, to stuff that's downright illegal.

And this, here, is the worst? Documenting the shit that comes out of people's own mouths? Cross-referencing the shit people say about themselves? Laughing at fat people? Archiving trannies' own sex pest tweets and discords? Gossiping about autists and bad moms? Getting [really] mad about autists playing video games? Naming monkey torture circle sadists and dog rapists? Posting updates about people actively recruiting and grooming kids to be zoosadists?

This is really the worst website you've ever seen? Not the actual monkey torturers and tranny sex pests and abusive fail moms and child groomers and dog rapists? Not the literal pedophiles boasting that they get to see children at their job? Not the dude bragging about getting boys and girls to irreversibly fuck up their endocrine system and genitals under their parents radar? Not them? But us for trying to name them or archive their own statements? Us for laughing at the autists and trannies and fatties?

Fuck off.
They'll sanitize the internet and society if they had the chance. They want us to live in some safe pabelum world where we digitally slave away like the matrix while they get to rule the world as a paradise as they see it.

But until that metaverae world that's akin to demolition man we have to encourage cyber by getting cyber hitler to take the net

This actually sets a dangerous precedent as so many sites use Cloudflare and expect their service to reflect neutrality.

If I had something really important to post online, I would seek alternative hosting and ddos mitigation efforts.

Btw, removing protection from this site won’t bring your tranny girlfriend back, Matt. Luke, it won’t make us see you and other rapehons as actual women. Cloudflare, you took a major move to defend people that have a very very high probability of actually being pedophiles. That wasn’t just a joke. Who sends cat boy collars to children, and who defends that sick shit?

I should probably don my unrealistic conspiracy theorist hat, but maybe the "threat to human life" was issued directly to cloudflare or matthew? Surely they have something in place for handling something along the lines of "if you don't remove kiwifarms I will do bad things" or "Im from kiwi farms and I'll do bad things to you", unless it was a government threatening them. Or someone sent pretty hefty blackmail or just pictures of family members to them. That'd be pretty horrific if that's the case, but I'm pretty sure this is just a schitzo theory.

The idea has probably been brought up in the thread already or some other one, but in some part of my addled lizard brain something like this is plausible.

When will the CWCiki be back? Out of all the sites (the MATI streams can always be watched on Odysee or YouTube mirrors and got the .ru/.onion domain here) I don't know why that's the one that still isn't usable right now in some form since I'm pretty sure in the grand scheme of things that website is by far the most 'tamest' of them all.

All this boils down to a a failed fart porn man who cut off off his penis/testicles, takes female hormones, got a fake vagina and used the internet to convince children to do the same.

What we need is a foundation to fund lawsuits against these pedophiles/criminals when the authorities do nothing, and file civil lawsuits against those that enable the predatory sexual exploitation of children. Pedos like Keffals need to be sued by the parents of these kids. Nothing damages a reputation more for normies than "Company XXX has been found guilty of supporting and enabling a chomo". A class action lawsuit against the DOJ for violating the rights of children by enabling pedos to prey on them.

You know, like the leftists do.
We could call it the Kiwi Moon Foundation and is funded by the farms.

Always make sure to never use your real credit cards, use a prepaid card and pay for it in cash two towns away when donating to the foundation, so that if hackers manage to get a list you won’t end up getting your bank accounts frozen. If you’re extra paranoid that you’ll somehow be tracked down via security cams at random gas stations, just wear a Burka with shades

I agree with what you're saying, monopolies and trusts can and do pose serious threats to many personal freedoms. I was simply pointing out that as of right now what they're doing is lawful even if it is entirely immoral and setting an awful precedent. with the popularization and widespread use of the internet i believe it should be treated more as a public utility than something that can be turned off by private organizations if laws aren't preventing these said organizations from doing so. i was simply trying to refute what you said about cloudflare being a monopoly as it does seem as though Josh was able to find another equally-adequate service.

It's lawful because of nefarious people with the same 'muh heckin private company' mindset that treat libertarians like useful idiots, as this agreement is useful in their desires to extrajudicially impose societal control, and these same people it affects the most roll over like dogs because they are completely fine with being ruled over by a cabal of businessmen.

And, my dude, alternatives can exist and a company can still be a monopoly. These are in no way mutually exclusive.

Does Cloudflare have a legal right to block access to the site if they are not your host? Does it constitute a breach of contract for them to restrict traffic without notice and without communication to you?

Of all the stupid things this represents, the one that scares me the most is that Matthew Prince didn’t just drop Null, but is effectively censoring his own customer actively at the behest of a third party even though presumably the site is paid up through the end of the month.

Is he doing this using access to the network given as a result of the service agreement?

It would be bad enough if he just suspended service due to pressure from the mob, but Prince has taken active hostile steps apart from that to limit access to the site.

I’m not suggesting that Null get sucked into pointless legal action, but it’s worth doing the due diligence to figure out if this is legally or contractually appropriate. It could help in both public statements and private negotiations with Cloudflare.

Either way, the precedent is catastrophic.
Yes. Of course they do. They can terminate service to anyone they want to.

Best case, Josh gets a refund for the month. Worst case, they just go "well we think he broke our TOS, so he gets nothing."

If Josh thinks he's entitled to more damages than that, he can sue them. But he won't, and you probably don't want a court ruling on "platforming the super-double commie-nazis who killed 41% of all trans people" either.

The only way this makes any difference to CloudFlare is if people vote with their feet and their wallets. And the only way that helps internet speech is if the catastrophe is so epic that every other DDoS protection service learns from their mistake.

Neither is extremely likely. Even if it should be.

Situation normal. All fucked up.
