Matthew Prince lied.

There's a bit of meme magic to it too. Kiwifarms and Twitter both have a bird as their mascot and logo. The bird of Kiwifarms is flightless while the bird of twitter is depicted in-flight. Kiwifarms most influential content are lengthy OPs, twitter on the other hand imposes a brutal character limit and relies on rapid propagation of hashtags instead. On twitter, shaky rumor is thrown around, claimed as fact, reported as fact by the media and then enshrined as fact by wikipedia. On kiwifarms, gossip gathers tons of proof and archives, only to be dismissed by the mainstream as false just for simply being on kiwifarms. On kiwifarms, the popularity of a thread or post is determined primarily by the thread itself, on twitter it is determined by who posted it. It's quite interesting how that comes about huh. I suppose some english teacher would then talk about how the logos of the sites represent how kiwifarms remains grounded while twitter is given to delusional flights of fancy, but really none of this means anything it's just rather poetic.
It's more that Twitter will openly capitulate and kneel to leftists and trannies, so any doxes or harassment is seen as either accidental (if it's a dox of a troon) or a good thing (if it's the dox of a right winger).

Null doesn't do that, so people believe any threats or harassment are intentional, even if it's deleted and denounced.

Why do people even use Cloudflare anymore. They've exposed themselves as trash so many times. I've never made my own website but how hard can it really be to just go with someone else?
They are free. So appealing when starting out. And its appealing to have one person to go to for your whole infra stack if you dont want to deal with it yourself.

How did I just post this on kiwifarms.ru?

Interesting turn of events. First off I want to say that I'm not shocked, the rules are never applied universally or even just consistently and I said as much a few days ago.

I am curious as to what internal discussion was had that lead to this reversal of Cloudflare's previous position, which was in my opinion not just very reasonable but also well argued. I find this sudden change of heart is questionable to say the least and I'm inclined to echo the prevailing opinion that this wasn't entirely internal. You can pick whatever external boogeyman you like.

Matthew's blog seems to me to be nothing more than damage control, I'm sure he finds this site to be distasteful but he explained (very well) why Cloudflare would not be taking action and what the ramification would be if they did. He doesn't seem like a stupid man so I'm forced to assume that he understands that this action is a mistake. This is further backed up by him stating that Cloudflare's actions against this site would in the long term be pointless and potentially worse for the people this action was intended to protect.

One of the most fascinating aspects of this resent post by Matthew is how he is desperately trying to distance himself from Keffals and the dropkiwifarms campaign, like anyone believes that.

Really between Keffals and LFJ's op is the best way to piece this together.
Basically Destiny vs Keffals arc happens.
LFJ and his cabal of troons identify Keffals as being a good frontman for their OP, shutting down kiwifarms.
They use Keffals visibility to get the mindless drones needed to spam businesses/journos/politicians.
Retards parrot the narrative wholesale without question.
Cloudflare immiedately back peddles on their stance within 48 hours from the pressure.
>We are here.
Also Keffals desperately needs to hurry up and 41%.

I'm unwilling to remain under the thumb of a literally dickless man.

Okay I am going to tinfoil here. I think the 4chan post is from that ellenfromnowon guy keffals lives with or whatever. Here is my shaky proof.

Notice the wide nail bed, super pale skin that turns bright red while holding things. Camera photo shot using right hand.

Blurry but same dry pale skin with wide nail bed.

Similar pale hand with super red skin on thumb pad area.

Not great pic but same wide short nail bed and pale dry hand. Right handed camera use for photo.

And one last hand photo just cuz.

I got all these off twitter in like 5 mins have lppked at nothing else like stream or whatever but this notebook has a dog ear and sorta unique binding, and the marker looks like a medium point drawing type so if those are found on his desk somewhere maybe he did the 4chan post? Massive speculation. I am just so.....worried for the future of the internet?

Edit I am so sorry I tried thumbnails on mobile idk if it worked pls forgive
Nahh, i already checked this too. His nail is way too short and he has very very wrinkly hands. You can tell the person who posted the picture has fat fucking hands, if anything they correspond more with Kekkal's thumb:

The lines in the middle of the thumb (which seem to be pretty unique per person) also correspond more with the thumb as seen on the 4chan post. But it is probably not Kekkals himself either, because he got dark blue fake nails ever since he landed in Ireland, and he had them too in his newest stream, while the nail with the note is nude. Could be that he got a pedicure between the note and his last stream but i doubt it.

He is not just a coward, and a cuck, but he is also a fucking idiot who chose the worst possible option, the best way to get hated by absolutely everyone. What a spineless pussy. He has all the money anyone could possibly need, and they couldn't do shit to him.

>reeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
"We caved before, it was a bad precedent, we aren't doing it again."
>REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
"We're caving now, but we pinky swear it isn't a precedent at all!"
>Hey, screeching worked, let's keep doing it

Matthew Prince doesn't understand what a precedent is. Either that, or he doesn't understand there are two sides observing his actions, and he doesn't get to dictate the lesson learned by the observers.

This is like telling a dog not to do something, he does the bad thing, and you give him a treat anyway while saying "bad doggy". He doesn't care about your words. He only understands the objective, physical results of his actions. Troons, leftists, and angry mobs are not any smarter or more sophisticated in their learning model.

(apologies to all dogs reading this, I know you're smarter than troons)

what are the odds of this holding out until christmas? 2023? i know it's a while away, but the thought of some twitter user spending their holidays on twitter begging the next hosters or ddos mitigators or whatever else to drop kiwifarms is slightly amusing .

on another note, i don't open twitter very often at all but i am genuinely curious about how many twitter users have done the equivalent of inciting violence on kiwis. does it need to be a specific person to "count"? or are twitter users all really so pearl-clutching that a death threat is beyond their imagination? i am not very familiar with the territory so i wouldn't know but i can only imagine like 2 defenses of it, which would work in kiwifarms' favor as well.

also curious about that one legal thing about social media type platforms-- that companies like facebook and twitter don't assume legal responsibility of posts users make on the condition that if they remove them when they're made aware of them. kiwifarms is a lot smaller obviously but it still applies doesnt it? or is there no attempt to come at it from that legal angle? i dunno.

matthew prince is a pussy cuck, is all that really matters. that is the true takeaway.

This is the thing I value the most about the farms. Users are discouraged from powerleveling, which means that people very rarely try to trump anyone else by claiming some marginalized, minority status. People change their avatars frequently and sometimes their usernames.

The upshot of this is that every post is voted and reacted to according to its contents and not the identity of its author. Literally, this is the place where you are judged by the content of your character.

Funny that 60 years later, this makes you a Natzee.
While true, there are exceptions to every rule and I dare not utter their names lest this thread be plagued.

On the cloudflare issue, people really overestimate the amount of power the CEO of a publicly traded company has. Everyone involved in the decision is a large shareholder, retarded, and has no idea what damage this precedent will cause to the Internet.
