To clarify: I read the announcement on the Telegram. Then I wondered: why is Bandwidth terminating a number that is being sub-leased? How did this come to their attention? Was it publicly available knowledge that his number was sub-leased from Bandwidth, or did somebody at Google or Bandwidth go out of their way to find that information?

It's factually inaccurate. It is however accurate quotation of the linked article and Matthew Prince. Maybe Prince shouldn't have opened his big mouth and given them stuff to work with that he knew probably wasn't true.

I hope they make him choke on those words in court. Ideal world he has to admit they were false.

If Prince admits they were false, then Null is going to be the next one to crawl up his ass. He's already stressed that the message was worded in a way that shielded Prince from liability. That implies to me that he's looked into it with the intention of pulling the trigger if warranted.
