Yeah. You can protect things like your primary resident and 1 car, along with family heirlooms and wat not in an initial bankruptcy. After that you cannot declare bankruptcy again except as allowed by Statute. usually 7 years minimum.

If you go Bankrupt AGAIN outside the statutory requirements the Banks can take EVERYTHING.

VICKERS is not selling the house. It's getting foreclosed on, or at least the lender is giving notice of it. That's what the "notice of trustees sale" means. After 21 days from the notice, they can auction the property.

Based on the screencaps I've seen @TherapyMan post (can correct if wrong), Vickers never successfully declared bankruptcy. The first image says he didn't provide the necessary information (guessing that's for the first one in 2013) and the other two times he didn't make the necessary payments under the plan.

It gets better. A statutory requirement that Vickers had to fulfill as part of his last Bankruptcy would have included court ordered financial counseling.

He was TOLD in no uncertain terms this was going to happen if he acted like a retard with his money again.

I don’t think he ever was legally declared bankrupt. I’m no expert on the matter but the links shared show he filed 3 times but it was dismissed every time and he didn’t file needed information twice and never submitted to a scheduled payment plan the third. So any bankruptcy was moot? Not sure what happens when you file 3 times, never pay and it’s dismissed. Definitely he has no protection from creditors for his home

Maybe the third failed bankruptcy attempt was the final straw for the wife? It finally resulted in the house being foreclosed. Bankruptcy would have at least allowed them to keep the house, but he fucked that up.

That is a bit more complicated and would depend very much on the circumstances of the dismissals.

As far as I can tell he never successfully declared bankruptcy and it all kept growing.

The third failed bankruptcy was 2018-19, more likely if finances had anything to do with it, it was probably when the bank started sending notices in advance of possible foreclosure starting late last year.
