I hope that work permit was recent because the address originally listed an approx 960 square foot house at that address so that addition could have been to make the house the current 1600 square feet.

Either way it’s not a spacious premise for a family of seven and adding an infant isn’t going to help matters.

Id bet the 500 sq addition was the bedroom and play space for four boys.

It makes Faith’s desperation to gtfo a bit more understandable. I’ve lived in a 1500 square foot home with my spouse and it was great for two people, three would have been doable but four? No fucking way. I can’t imagine seven or eight.

Faith thought getting knocked up was her ticket to her own home away from her family. Fifty years ago it was pretty common for young girls from big families to get married young just to get out of crowded or turbulent family homes. This was because most women then didn’t have many options for careers and education, so marriage was their best way out. Faith did have options so she was just being a lazy idiot.

Except, Faiths situation isn’t a new baby following a new marriage, and a stable one at that (continued for 20 years, so, that’s admirable). Her scenario is much more sinister because it’s either dripping with manipulation on her part or Ralph’s, and without any serious consideration for the associated costs on your body, your bank account, and entire fucking life.

Feeling that you didn’t parent perfectly with child #1 is common. Lack of money or time, or mistakes made that you wished you could undo. Is that motivation for the Vickers to want to help raise the baby, to redress the wrongs they did as naive parents? If so, I hope they’re already had the blinders removed regarding Faith, because she’s going to pawn that kid off on her parents at the first opportunity. (Which is for the best, secondly to adoption).

his store is on the fringe of Sacramento, which is 1 hour by car from the entire bay area to the east, Modesto, Stockton to the south, and Yuba city and beyond to the north, not including all the smaller towns and villages. I was careful with my words for a reason, more than a third of the population of California is within approximately an hour drive of his shop. You have your map set to walking distance nonce.

His pawn store looks to just be typical strip mall commercial area. I have to lol at there being a H&R Block next door. When idiots can’t get their “rapid return” money from HR Block they can head into the pawn store.

The area is just commercial but he’d be better off in a bad area. Pawn stores operate on tight margins and fluctuating price indexes/values. The more shitbags bringing in stolen jewelry for him to buy at a fixed rate below smelt value the more money he makes. There’s a reason you never see pawn stores in nice areas. They need the desperate addicts and thieves who will sell well below market price because they need cash right now.

Vickers only has a 1600 sq foot house for a family of eight. He’d be better off buying a bigger house for his family rather than getting a bank loan for a shanty in Richmond to own his grandbaby’s daddy.

The minute he had Faith flash cash on twitter to try and flex on Gunt made me realize he’s a lot less successful than I had assumed. Flaunting a few k from your cash drawer shows a man insecure about his financial standing. Besides that’s a insignificant amount of cash for any pawn store to have on hand. If he had more he sure would have shown it.

No wonder someone complained about the store being out of cash when they went to pawn something. Vickers didn’t even have enough cash in that photo to buy two ounces of gold. Most real profitable pawn stores keep enough cash on hand to buy a minimum of a kilo of gold a day, nothing under $50k.
