Vickers' story is really a classical tragedy. Had he simply taken stock of what he did have, and behaved more maturely, I don't think he would have ended up in this position, but, he couldn't do that. He had to beat Ralph on his own level, he had to be the bigger ralphamale, and in doing so he both lost that war and everything he should have held dear.
I'd almost feel bad for him had he not been warned of this sort of shit for years.

Nah, I think the Ralphamale drama extended an already doomed marriage. First it was the late in life fourth (fifth?) baby produced by fibromyalgia mom, then Ralph. They suddenly had a common enemy and crusade but it could only last so long.

Vickers leaving his bank job to take over some schizo’s coin store was always strange. Lots of people think they can run their own business, but most can’t.

The one glaring issue is Vickers was distracting himself with all this Ralph drama instead of trying to salvage his business. Multiple bankruptcies are suspect too, esp for a guy who hoards coins and metal. Sometimes that’s a way they try to sneak around shit, sort of like DSP, but the tactic only works so many times. Was this really bankruptcy number 3? Either it’s fraud or he’s a grade A retard.
