I guess Chris' group home could give him permission to come and go a bit freely, but this seems odd. So maybe legit but I also wouldn't be shocked if it now turns out to be some elaborate hoax with a Chris Chan impersonator, at least until someone in one of these sightings gets a video of Chris talking. Chris is wearing the fuckin Sonichu medalion in these pics, it's not like he wants to lay low.

I'd think Chris has the ability to understand that if he doesn't wanna be easily recognized in public than not wearing the Sonichu medallion is a good step. Then again Chris' inflated ego has led him to believe multiple times that everyone just knows who he is or at least knows about him. So maybe he just assumes there's no point to trying to disguise himself.

Alternatively, and maybe likely, Chris isn't ashamed about what he did and just assumes that everything can go back to the way it was before prison.
