McDonalds - I'm Lovin' It

I will admit, when McDonald's has good deals like the free Fries deals for whenever the Brooklyn Nets wins or scores triple points, I will go to McDonalds that day just to get the fries. I also like getting their free large drink with any purchase (that I get a large fries with). As you can see, I find McDonald's fries fucking amazing. Otherwise I try to cook whatever the fuck's in my fridge, get 99 cent pizza, or get the Wendy's 4 for 4 or Burger King's chicken fries/chicken nuggets meal with a large fries coupon that I have in the app. After all, I am a broke-ass college student who is trying to avoid the school's less than steallar cafeteria when she can.

Usually if I get Mcdonalds it's because I'm grabbing breakfast in the morning on the way to the other office.

Otherwise before I get to Mcdonalds I have to pass a Wendys, a Chik Fil A, a Backyard Burger, lots of stuff. So the competition for junk food is pretty stiff for me.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE CEO OF MCDONALD'S:

Uh, yes, hello. You don't know me, but like many Americans (and people around the world) I grew up on your horrible, disgusting, beautiful, delicious product.

And I would like to make one request: For the love of God, stop trying to be something you're not.

You're not fancy, you're not healthy, you're definitely not quality by any objective metric. What's the point of things like the all-day breakfast, or table-side service, or the McCafe, or that stupid, stupid "make your own burgers" thing? I don't go to McDonald's for that, I go to McDonald's for the same reason a lot of Americans do: because I want to eat something that's affordable and takes up space in my gut. If I wanted fancy shit, I'd go to Chipotle, or Five Guys, or whatever wacky-ass "new sustainable fast-food concept!" has sprung up in my neighborhood this week.

But, hey, at least you're not Burger King.

Oh, man. McDonald's McRib, Big Macs, and chicken nuggets are to die for. Give me one of the those, with a sweet tea and fries and we have a deal! :)

That McRib is outta control. One of the many treats of this world during winter: a fireplace, Christmas, family, eggnog, eggnog daiquiri, and the McRib. If they sold them year round they wouldn't be as good.

I like the idea of the "all day breakfast" cuz those sausage sandwiches are legit, but i'll probably never eat one past 10:30am anyway so its kinda nonsense, for me anyway.

It's okay, I only tend to have the Breakfast Wrap as I've tried the rest of the breakfast menu before and it doesn't taste right. I end up having chicken most of the time anyway or one of their limited edition stuff they have on.

The offers and deals are decent too from time to time as well.

McDonald's is okay, as far as fast food goes. Every single one I've been to except for one has been slow service tho

The thing I love there is the McFrappe. Not even real coffee, it's pretty much a caramel milkshake but Goddamn is it a delicious caramel milkshake
They had an oreo one they discontinued and I was sad

I actually don't eat much of the food there mostly the McFrappes lol

I will only eat McDonalds when I am in a car with someone who wants to go otherwise I try to avoid it.
The items I like the most are the nuggets, the insanely salty fries, and the weird rubbery flapjacks.

I've gone there a fair bit I usually go there for McDubbles, drinks and Ice Cream. Though I do like their McGriddles (with bacon).

Otherwise, they're way too expensive to be considered "cheap" and those build a burgers are utterly pointless if they're going to charge $12 or more for one of them.

I tend to eat McDickholes more as a "fuck it" thing nowadays than when I was younger. Mostly just get some McDoubles, a fry, and drink. I legit prefer BK though since they just don't taste as fakey fake, their nuggets are better, and holy shit they're cheaper (remember when McDickholes was the cheap one? I do.). But if I'm being cheap, I usually go to KFC or Taco Bell instead since I can stuff my fat fucking face for five or six bucks.

The mccafe stuff is pretty good.
I love the hash browns (this will probably get wordfiltered) and they're so cheap.
Anything chicken and I like the plain cheeseburgers and fries a lot.

Can be hit-and-miss depending on where you get it. I went to a quiet one in Belgium once, they took forever to serve and we ended up getting table service which was incredibly unusual. Otherwise the food was pretty standard McDs.

The Swiss McDs are probably some of the best; they use pretty high-quality beef compared to vendors in other countries. They are the only ones to actually sell a really beefy burger (The New Prime) and they also have some unique specials every so often like a pulled pork burger or one with raclette cheese. But they're also the most expensive because hey it's Switzerland.

I avoid McDonalds if I can, there are better fast food options. With that said I think Canadian McDonalds is better than American McDonalds in terms of quality. I had a McDouble in the US and thought it tasted terrible. Anyway, I enjoy the breakfast items the most, especially their breakfast burritos. My SO is allergic to eggs so we barely go to McDonalds for that since 90% of the menu items are eggs.
