Basically here's the scene: you're on your twitter, your facebook, your tumblr, etc. You like your nerd shit. You follow movie news, movie reviews, video games, maybe even a guy who made a youtube essay you liked or some chick that seemed friendly enough. Then, suddenly you're confronted with something absolutely fucking retarded like this:

Basically, you find someone looking too deep into children's media and trying to force their version of topical conversation into whatever's "hip" at the moment. Star Wars is about feminism, Marvel is about diversity (lol, like two black guys, so diverse) and video games are about postmoderism. That is what this thread's about. Stupid hot takes from stupid people on stupid media. Wherever, whenever, I'll track it down and post it here.

At the moment this topic comes across more as a General Discussion thread rather than Community Watch. For CW the OP will need to be framed in the context of watching a cohesive community of some sort rather than just random posts on social media. What group or groups specifically are being followed or disccused? What dramas are they involved in? Are there any individuals that stand out? What is special about this community that makes it threadworthy?

1. You fuck up the title.
The title is, very specifically, "First Name / Second Name / Alias / Alias / Alias"

Why? Because if you do not place the forward slash with spaces on either side, it implies OR, not AND. First Name/Second Name implies that the person's name is "First Name Name" or "First Second Name". This can be used that way, such as "Jane Doe/Smith / Alias" means that the person has the name Jane Doe, but also goes by Jane Smith; perhaps that is her maiden name. The Alias is another name entirely. Pipelines and backward slashes are not accepted and you are not fucking special: use a fucking forward slash.

I am extremely anal about the titles. If you don't at least make the effort to do this like I want it, I am not going to make the effort to fix your post for you. If the naming situation is very hard to pin down, I will help. If it's not, I won't. Do your best.

Further, the title is only for aliases. The subtitle box is for an optional clincher sentence (see 3). The wiki box is only for a link to an existing Lolcow Wiki article, nothing else. If there is no Wiki article, do not put anything in this box.
