MCU Television and Animation Series on Disney + - WandaVision, FATWS, Loki, etc

I wonder how they'll tie that into the Black Widow credits stinger with Valentia Fontaine.

Happy to have D'Onofrio back. Hopefully they don't fuck up the finale because so far this as have been my favorite of the Disney+ MCU shows.
This week's episode is probably the closest to a "bad" one and even then it wasn't bad at all, just slow and clearly kind of a stopgap for the finale. It still had all the charm and heart of the previous four with some surprises here or there.

Just watched episode 5 of Hawkeye. Gonna be a nutty finale.

Kingpin confirmed, he's wearing his white suit. Not sure if there's slight CGI to make him bigger or not because he only appeared via a photograph in Kate's phone. Kate's mum has connections to him and she hired Yelena.

I had a feeling Kate's mom was behide Armand's death becuase I felt Jack was too obvious. Nice to see kingpin with D'Onofrio back in the role again. So Kate's mom and Kingpin are working together intresting. I am carious how this will be tied with Valentia Fontaine as well. I mean I wouldn't be shocked if she has Alliance with Kinpin or something

While I'm really excited by the reveal in the newest episode, I'm really worried with how much they're going to tone down Kingpin for the wider Disney MCU. It's not about if, they will tone him down a lot. My hope is that he still has the menace and unpredictability factor that made him so scary and imposing in the Netflix show but without being treated as a joke. I think incorporating the Netflix shows is cool, and something I've always wanted, but that's also a massive tonal whiplash. I'm at least hoping that they have the foresight to make Kingpin the "shit just got real", everyone stops cold in their feet villain that he should be treated as. The Netflix show set a huge bar for this particular interpretation of the character and that's a lot to live up to.

Hawkeye's finale was good, the best of the D+ lot so far. They wrapped up most of the plot threads well and what was left is obviously intended to be picked up in the Echo series. I think the only thing I was a bit disappointed with is that Yelena and Kate didn't have a scene together after everything was wrapped up.

Kingpin isn't the monster from the Netflix series that decapitated a dude with a car door or killed his father with a hammer but D'Onofrio still sells the character and he is now more line with his comic counterpart. If I had to guess I'd say Maya shot him, he tanked it like he did with the arrows, and the Echo series will revolve around her being hunted down. iirc, in the comics Echo shoots Kingpin and leaves him blind -- I wonder if they'll do the same here.

Speaking of Echo, while I liked her well enough I'm not sure she can really carry a show by herself. She isn't a super interesting character and compared to her comic counterpart she's basically just a deaf girl who can throw a punch, whereas in the comics she's a mix of Daredevil and Taskmaster. Hopefully they use her show as a vehicle for (re)introducing various street-level characters.

Good finale, very solid. Vincent stepped back into the role as if no time had passed, but obviously he's not going to be anywhere near as violent as the Netflix version of the character. Echo will probably expand on that. In any case, if we're rating shows in terms of consistent quality, it's Hawkeye > Loki > Wandavision > F&WS.

Watched all of Hawkeye could have made an alright 2-hour movie or with re-editing & little reshoots a good 3 or 4 episode show but so much shit they could just cut out of the show without impacting the story at all.

The whole LARP shit is the worst thing in the MCU to date and the fact they are not just in one episode but in most of them really bring the show down. Echo was kind of bland and not sure how the character will be able to hold her own show and the boyfriend subplot with her just didn't work. I honestly think removing them and giving more time to the true villain would have made a better show.

All many scenes seem to go on longer than they need to just to pad the run time out so each episode is above 40 minutes

Overall good in there just a lot of unneeded shit which a better edit could honestly cut out.

its crazy how little people are talking about hawkeye, most of the shows had a little bit of hype or people talking about it, and despite all the crazy reveals its pretty much a sleeper. hawkeye was never that popular and the show blatantly being him passing the torch doesn't help either. if it weren't for the overall story arc i'd say this show wouldn't be getting a 2nd season.

It doesn't help that most of the other MCU D+ shows have been sub par to outright bad.

So it's coming out to an apathetic market that is burning out on the MCU in general.

No Way Home is set to surpass Infinity War/Endgame in ticket sales and Hawkeye is currently trending on Twitter. I don't think people are burned out, this is just a street-level show where the big happenings are mostly just two dudes fighting each other.

I did enjoy the finale.

no why is Kingpin dead. Also Vincent did a good job as the character again. Still wondering did the events of Deardevil still happen?

spiderman will always be popular irregardless of the rest of the MCU, but the MCU proper isn't that popular. spiderman will end up grossing more than the last 3 films combined.

I'm just amazed at how many people are coming to see the film. but the new variant might fuck them if theaters are forced to restrict things. overall its a great sign for films, all signs besides the government say covid has ended

I swear to Christ if that's all the brought him back for, I'm going to be very pissed off. I was hoping the after credits was going to set something up, but it was just that CRINGE fucking play. Stupid cunt deaf actress, thats all she is, they definitely didn't characterize or develop her in anyway that justifies her getting her own show, it's only cause she's disabled.

Otherwise the finale was fine.

I won't lie there's only been two maybe 3 deaf actors that I find I like and are not bad actors (Deanna Bray. Marlee Matlin and Lou Ferrigno) but even than they were acting before wokeness took over Hollywood. In Bray and Ferrigno's case they learn how to read lips and talk by their parents while growing up. So I guess it's kind of unfair to compare them to deaf actors who haven't had that surpport(I can only think of one other deaf actress besides those two who can speak). But Marlee Matlin I belive doesn't (at least form the stuff I seen her in) and she's proven to be a good actress in my opinion. But these latest deaf actors that Hollywood are currently pushing aren't too good saddly in my opinion for instance the Walking Dead and Eternals actress or the actress who playing Echo (saddly) are are only getting push for woke reasons.

Again the three that I mentioned were acting before Wokness started to eat Hollywood alive so that may explain why they aren't bad.

Actually Lou Ferrigno maybe the first superhero actor to be disabled. But most people seem to ignore that (I wouldn't be shocked if it's because of his political views)

Yeah no Fisk is gonna be alive, probably do the blinding shit and have him and matt do the rodeo in echo
Reminder Echo is just an excuse to have a MCU Daredevil show/DareDevil Season 4 as that has been the best live action tv show to come out of the MCU to date, hope it doesn't loose too much of it's edge due to being on Disney plus
