MCU Television and Animation Series on Disney + - WandaVision, FATWS, Loki, etc

I'd watch a sitcom set in a Wakanda liquor store run by a Danny Glover lookalike. Make that shit happen.
Next door is a check cashing joint run by Chris Tucker, who talks constantly about conspiracies involving secret government organizations, genetic engineering, alternate dimensions, and aliens. Meanwhile, Danny Glover doesn't believe any of it and just wants to sell a few more bottles of hooch until he can retire.

See, that's a show! You need some bumbling police officers and a token white guy, slap a Upn logo in there somewhere. Get some washed up 90s rappers to show up as customers, too.

Sgt. Reginald VelJohnson (Carl from Family Matters) patrols the streets, dropping donut crumbs and spilling coffee on every piece of evidence he stumbles across. His partner is Officer Zach Ward (the bully from A Christmas Story, sort of a Great Value ginger Chris Evans) who's in Wakanda on a cultural exchange program. Zach is the no-nonsense half-Irish cop from Boston trying to clean up supervillian crime, only to be thwarted by his bumbling partner who simply replies "You can't catch them all!" Zach's always serious attitude makes him the punchline to every joke. Blacks feel good about dunkin' on Whitey, and Whiteys don't care because he's really Irish.

Chingy is the super for the T'Challa Seasons apartment building across the street. His work ethic is suspect as he spends each day hanging out in the liquor store looking for expired bottles instead of fixing any of his tenant's issues. His catchphrase is "It's always green in Wakanda!". To boost the grrl power he has a YA daughter who solves most of his problems and is the moral center of the show. Disney can use whichever actress is getting too old for her soon-to-be-canceled teenage sitcom.

Lorraine Toussaint, Regina King, Lisa Nicole Carson, and Jackee Harry show up to buy booze and shoot the shit. Also the president is Reginald Vel Johnson.

This week's Wandavision was good, but probably the weakest it's been so far. It was kind of hard to top last week's to be fair.

Edit:
Another watch let it sit better. Was probably just distracted on the first viewing seeing as it drops early in the morning my time.

If the "Luke Skywalker moment" that was teased for Wandavision is supposed to be Wanda "recasting" Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver with Evan Peters from the Fox X-Men films then I am underwhelmed.

I think he might have been referring to the finale. Either way it's just PR talk, I would always take it with a grain of salt.

Not sure if it changes watching this for me since I've read the comics first but it feels like they are trying to force her into a villian role. Not sure what to think of
Pietro coming back it just seems too forced, though it did seem to be entirely out of her control.

if Clark Duke shows up I'm going to bottle my farts and send them to the show producers

Olsen really didn't say it was going to be a Luke Skywalker tier moment, that's just journalists blowing shit out of their ass to get clicks. She just confirmed it was a type of casting she was suprised hadn't leaked (whenever the interview was conducted).

Has he played a character in a Marvel movie before? All I'm getting results for is Kick Ass.
It's mostly Kick ass whom he appeared with the other two Quicksilver actors, but he's like cancer to any show or movie I've moderately enjoyed. It's a general concern at any rate.

That does sound more like Fox-Quicksilver. Paul Bettany on the other hand said he's finally gotten a chance to work with an actor he's always wanted to work with. I'm wondering if that's Dick Van Dyke.

Eh, I'm still thinking it's gonna be Doctor Strange at the end, just because of the Multiverse of Madness.

So I actually like WandaVision a lot better now that it isn't just "Gee, weren't 1950's and 1960's wacky compared to the bullshit we consoom today?"
I'm beating a dead horse at this point, but you didn't need to click on this, so I'll say it again... This show would have been SOOO much better if they dropped all of the episodes at once.

I'm gonna give a prediction now, and with my luck it will probably be wrong... But who knows? Maybe I'll look smart eventually, because I haven't seen anybody else guess this yet... (To be fair I haven't actually looked...)
When they said that Wanda "recast Pietro," my immediate thought is that's exactly what happened. But taking that literally, even though it's the same actor who played Quicksilver in the Fox version of the Xmen, my thought is that it's just a red herring/Easter Egg. I predict that in the context of the MCU, he's just some regular dude that Wanda (subconsciously?) chose to replace her brother, but he's played by Evan Peters. I also predict that this guy may not even have 'Quicksilver' powers at all, and just be some human dude who Wanda is (unintentionally?) mind controlled to play the part of her brother...

Like I said, I'm probably wrong, but that's my guess as of right now.

I will also say, I am now kind of interested in WandaVision...
