Is Freshman Year set in an alternate continuity? You'd think Peter would remember another Doc Ock.
They'll probably handwave it

Here's x-men 97. Val Cooper is now one of the antagonists. No Psylocke in sight which irks me. Sunspot, Forge, and Nightcrawler joining the group.

When the cgi is shit....

Fucking look at this. The Sims jumped out. No wonder the fx teams are treated bad

They salvaged Chavez, they have a shot at making that worth a shit. I wouldn't get too excited though. Will be happy to see them man Iron Man armor more of an actual clunky, metal suit instead of just "magic" that shoots out of clothing in 3 seconds.
That is why the Mark 45 from Age of Ultron is still the best, in my opinion. Bulky, actual plating, and the angriest looking helmet design.

Apparently there’s rumored to be some clarification on the status of Inhumans in The Marvels but right now it’s up in the air, especially with all the bad blood involved. A Lockjaw cameo was even shot down.

I do agree with an above post stating how this was weird place to introduce mutants and I kind of hate how it dominates this show’s discussion in the media.
Yeah it is confusing since you had both Black Bolt and Professor Xavier in Dr. STRANGE. A mutant and a inhuman so I'm kind of wondering how the MCU will deal with this.
The fact none of you have mentioned this yet displeases me.

The fact they give this little of a shit is honestly remarkable.
Yeah this show is going to be something to say the least.
Honselty I'm curious for the Agatha show since Kathryn Harn did a good job with the character in Wandavision.

So Secret Invasion is going to be more than one season ok.

Yeah from what I hear America is a offer character in the comics. I remmber worrying when seeing the movie at first. But they made her somewhat likable in that.

So maybe their do the same for Ironheart. But I'm with you let's not put too much hope into it

I didn't really think anything of it at the time, but it's kind of funny how three upcoming villains (Kang, High Evolutionary and this Osborn variant) are all black.

What is High evolutionary going to appear in?

Where I guess it's nice that their admiting that not every black person is a automatically good.

Edit: I'm actually really excited for Jonathan Majors Kang portrayal. Since he did a good job playing time variant He who Remains. As in he made the character fun to watch. So I'm excited to see him as an outright bad guy next

Guardians 3. I really liked Majors in Loki too.

Oh that should be intresting to see High Evolutionary in live action. That's one villain I thought never would make it to live action for some reason.

Yeah watching Majors in Loki is what brought him under my Rader. You can really tell how much fun he was having in his few minutes of screen time in Loki. So I'm honselty excited to see more of him especially as Kang. Like Loki was ok for the most point. But than they reveal him as the "true villain" and instead of your typical bad guy character he's just this goofy guy cracking jokes. Who was just trying to prevent a worse version of himself from appearing

Scrolled past this on my timeline. Didn't even know Freshman year was a thing but was curious as to what you kiwis thought.

Cringe. Norman’s hair was based on an older hairstyle worn by men from his era, it’s not cornrows.
Nitpick aside, this is an odd duck. By all means this should just be a stand alone series and there’s a lot of oddities that make it seem that way, yet they insist on it being connected to the MCU. The art looks fine but we haven’t seen much of the animation. It’s all just weird so far; I’m similarly ambivalent towards the new X-Men revival.

Isn't norman usually mentally unstable?

So their going to have a black guy be mentally unstable and cause Mayham throughout the city.

Secretly based?
Wasn't interested, but I can smell the impending seethe of "Ya'll had to make a nigga the bad guy" that's sure to come from this.

>Make not one but three Marvel villains black
>Turn Catwoman, a well known thief, black in a few adaptions
What did the big two mean by this?
