I guess they just wanted their own Spider-Man series without the baggage of the MCU backstory. Due to the Multiverse it's all part of the same story anyway, so they win either way.>best waves on a brother

Cringe. Norman’s hair was based on an older hairstyle worn by men from his era, it’s not cornrows.
Nitpick aside, this is an odd duck. By all means this should just be a stand alone series and there’s a lot of oddities that make it seem that way, yet they insist on it being connected to the MCU. The art looks fine but we haven’t seen much of the animation. It’s all just weird so far; I’m similarly ambivalent towards the new X-Men revival.
