When a Movie/TV Show/Game sounds so ridiculously autistic and dumb at first but actually ends up being really interesting.

Examples include:
Tamers12345, funny little Sonic Underground fanboy who at first glance seems like your run of the mill sonic autist with MS Paint and everything, but ends up creating some genuinely funny skits with his videos despite the $2 production budget.

Spongebob: Beyond by 12th Art Group

Fanmade Spongebob series that starts out with Spongebob and Patrick going to get more Secret Spice for the Krabby Patties that sorta ends up becoming its own thing with their own unique characters and whatnot that surprisingly has some competent effort put into it.
First episode is a bit rough but as the series goes on the art direction improves by the episodes.

The Lego Movie

I remember when people thought this film sounded so dumb. How COULD you make a film based entirely around plastic building blocks? Well you just have fun with it and make it a love letter to all the stop motion Lego films autists have made throughout the years. A genuinely creative and funny film that plays so nicely with its concept.

I’m willing to argue Everything Everywhere All at Once could fall into this category, since if you look at both the trailer and full movie, it legitimately looks like a Chinese-American version of Rick & Morty but with clear references to kung-fu and physics.

All the while disguising itself as a dramedy that talks about nothing.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, a comedy movie with the crew going back to the 80s to get some whales.

Barkley, Shut Up and Jam Gaiden is the first thing that comes to mind. I didn't get a lot of the references, because I don't know much about basketball or JRPGs, but I still enjoyed it.

I don't know if something like Turbo Kid would count, since it's kind of in on its own joke, but it's still an enjoyable movie, made purely from an autistic love of shitty '80s DTV action/sci-fi movies.

Th Greasy Strangler for sure. I think that's as close as you can get to hooking an autist up to a thought projector.

The Big Lebowski is about a stoner who through mistaken identity, has his rug pissed on.

What entails is kidnapping, vandalism, nazis, Vietnam, emasculation, death, birth, coitus and vaginas.

So VGM parody videos are a thing, videos like "Revenge" or "Fallen Kingdom" by Captain Sparklez are minecraft parody/cover songs of "DJ Got Us Fallin in Love" and "Viva La Vida" respectively.

On paper this sounds incredibly cringe to take a popular song and "make it minecraft" somehow, but the end result is just a really solid cover of these songs (+ some decent animation), just with minecraft related lyrics.
But one video that takes the autism a step further is this Pony fan animation of a minecraft fan animation of a parody song of Katy Parry's "Last Friday Night"

The pony version has absolutely no reason to be so well animated and I'd argue the music might even be better than the OG minecraft one, but it really is just so good and I'm glad pony autism from way back then produced some solid gems when mlp was a huge thing.

Obligatory shoutout to Lord of the Rings here, bro just wanted to make a fantasy language and went too deep. Language is so deeply tied to the people, history, events, and environment of the culture it belongs to. So to truly do it justice, you gotta create all that, and because it doesn't make sense to just have one monoculture in this entire world, you gotta do this a half dozen more times.

A guy just silently stepping through the stone age on video should not have been this enjoyable or compelling.
