I'm all for robots, if they're offline or they go online to retrieve something and then disconnect. Sending any information back home more than an error report or crash report is bullshit.

Chances are they’ll say it’s the former and downplay the latter.

Why do advertisers keep trying to convince us that all black people live like characters from the show Modern Family?

Immaculate houses without carpets, open floor plans, casual wealth showing in every detail of their appearance.

But why?

They watch one episode of black-ish and think all black people think alike and dress alike. Either way, the robot dog in question is nothing compared to Jimmy Neutron’s dog:




He makes Alexa look less human by the day.

There was an episode of the X-Files revival with little robots and drones like this that tried to kill Mulder and Scully. I think some of them may have even had the same stylized "eyes."
