If you're right handed, left and down is usually a grip issue. If its FAR down then you're also anticipating recoil. Most of my shots were far down & to the left.
It could also be a sighting issue if you aren't super familiar with what your sight picture should look like - I have heard that's one of the main gripes people have with Glocks but I have no personal experience with it.
If you haven't developed a feel for what your last shot feels like, pay close attention to what happens to your muzzle when you press the trigger expecting a shot and then nothing happens. It probably dips down. Don't do that (easier said than done). @Pretend To Imagine has good advice - trigger hand should be fairly relaxed, support hand should be strong. Trigger arm should be pushing forward, support arm should be pulling back.
You can have a friend load random amounts of ammo in your magazines to trick you as well. Revolvers are really good for this since you can do a Russian roulette thing by partially loading and giving it a good spin.
I also find that when I am anticipating recoil, shooting double action very slowly really helps reign in that bad habit. Not everyone has DA/SA guns but if you do, give it a try.
Dry firing is your friend. Do it a lot. Its free and it works.
