I imagine Glocks corporate offices are in complete panic mode right now. Guys in suits with wide eyes screaming at engineers who have been staring at Solidworks for 14 hours a day the last month before running off to legal to beg the pain to stop.

You know, I've been thinking: I now own two of the three best known .22lr lever action rifles: the Browning BL-22 and the Winchester 9422. I may have to go for the trifecta eventually and buy a Marlin 39A. Maybe one day if either Ruger-Marlin decides to bring them back to market, or if I'm able to find a vintage one in good condition for a decent price. It's kinda funny, out of the three the Marlin was always the one I wanted most, but it's the one I don't own.

Someone in the know tell me if there's any pros to getting an actual HK sp5 and not just going with a Zenith zf5

I'd like then to release the 39A again. It's about the best .22 lever out there. all the other ones are cheap guns made out of pot metal.

the 39A is nicely made out of steel. they should market as a premium gun. high polish blue and so on. the originals were also offered in .32 colt/.32 rimfire (the firing pin was reversible so you could switch between central fire and rim fire), so perhaps a new one could be made in .32 auto or perhaps .32 long or magnum if action length allows.

Anyone got recommendations for a good Android ballistic calculator app? I've been trying to set up Chairgun for the last two days and despite it supposedly having the exact round I shoot in it's database the adjustments it's coming up with are massively off Vs my dope.
Strelok Pro is still pretty good but it's been yeeted off of every storefront so now pretty much the only way to get it is to sideload the apk. The one always recommended to me is Applied Ballistics but after some reading around apparently the updates they've pushed lately have made it worse, and I don't have a kestrel to hook it up to anyways.

The Hornady ballistics app is kinda gay but it spits out pretty accurate numbers when I shoot Hornady bullets.

Ever want to see a .458 SOCOM subsonic take deer at 437 yards?
Lol at the artillery piece amounts of holdover on that deer, makes me wonder what scope he's using. Not nearly the way I would want to do things, but still impressive though.

Are you really cross-shopping the two? The ZF5 is half to less than half the price. I've never used one but I have heard from the reviews over the years that they're a bit hit or miss. I don't find the SP5 worth the current price at all, I've had mine since they were a bit cheaper, mine was $2,100. They're $3,000 on average now just looking at gundeals, and that's insane.

HK prices are stupid these days. An example, Mark 23s are around $2500 average, a year ago you could get them for $1800ish new if you shopped around. I actually saw a sale on the FDE models for $1700ish last weekend for black friday and was shocked, but nobody wants an FDE Mark 23... so they put them on sale to clear some stock. There are two types of people who want a Mark 23: metal gear solid fans and MUH SOCOM collectors. Neither of them want anything but the black one.

I like multicam tbh. I liked it before it went mainstream and remember how Gucci and high priced it was back in the day. It’s faded M81 in a way. The biggest issue with it is all the people calling it soulless (let’s be honest give it a few years and acu camo will be called soulful) is that as it fades it gets more terrible and washed out.
