These posts never trigger me like they do some gun owners because I can always immediately tell a minority had this and then I’m glad they’re going to prison.
They make me laugh every time I see them, mostly because of how scuffed the weapon looks or because of the ridiculous verbiage like “very illegal assault weapon”.

I can’t even remember the last time I’ve seen a seized criminals weapon loaded with JHP. They might be like smoke detector batteries to them and they don’t even know they exist.

1301 is here finally

I wonder if most of these guns that are being smuggled into Europe are from the US or Ukraine

I'm late but I just saw this post. I've seen other videos of smuggled weapons with a lot of eastern bloc weapons like PPSH 43 and AK variants in France, with the AKs going for 5500 euros. I'm willing to bet this is all from the Balkans and from those miserable muslim breakaway states we supported are selling their US supplied arms. Polenar tactical showed he bought US surplus 1980s steel magazines that were surplus from the Balkans, the US definitely did arms sales to these states. If those are actual Colt ARs, then they didn't come from the civilian commerical market because Colt withdrew from that back in the 2000s. You can find LE trade in colts but they aren't worth the money, especially if you are looking for stuff to smuggle out since there will be a paper trail for them.

Did you get the carbon fiber top cover for the handguard or the aluminum one? Can't tell from the pic.

Nice gun!
It's the aluminum one. Really happy with the chisel stock especially, big improvement for me with how adjustable the length of pull is and the RMR cowitness was almost perfect out the box.

One thing have learned is that a 6" handguard makes accessorizing a complete pain in the ass.

Nice. I have an A300 and actually pretty happy with the factory stock, but I really want a proper solution to mounting what I want up front (light, sling points in not-stupid locations) so I'm prolly ordering the Chisel handguard since everything else is sorta meh.

I'm very tempted to make a very bad financial decision. I won't, but that little voice at the back of my head.....

I get that some of these high end shotguns are exquisite pieces, I've seen them at auctions and shows, but even in my winning the powerball dreams I never saw the appeal in spending $5,000+ on a shotgun. I get true custom 1911s more than I get these. But I'm not rich, rich people basically live in a different world from people like me.

Technically speaking, there is nothing preventing someone from building a Captive Piston PCC the size of or smaller than an MP5SD with an FRT. The only hurdle is building it, making the ammo and filing out hundreds and thousands of Form 1's

Maybe a project for someone like Mark Serbu.

These shotguns are hand built taking around 1,000 hours each. That’s good for 10-20k add in the fact that it’s British or Scottish and that’s another 50k at least for the prestige.

Yes, it’s a bit of a scam. But the people these guns are marketed for when made new can afford it.

If you’re like me you buy a good condition example that’s over 100 years old and still is working order for a 90% discount. These guns are very sturdy so unless it was shot to pieces it’s fine

Since 4chan has rotted away at this point , anywhere like /k/ I can visit forum or site wize ??
17 years ago OPERATORchan was the answer but the retarded site admin gambled away all his goodwill with his awful financial decisions (blowing thousands of dollars on a bitcoin mining rig, losing money on forex, buying a clapped $10k BMW with bald tires that he had to immediately abandon) and deleting the entire site out of nowhere one day because he thought some routine maintenance was an unauthorized entry. Basically after the SoL/Stayvuhn drama there was no reason to stay.

And honestly looking back at the good old days of OPchan it was really just a bunch of insufferable tripfags who mostly left for Reddit where they could get more upvotes, or in the case of some, hopefully they killed themselves.

As you say later in your post, the class of hunter who buys a $50,000 shotgun to flex on his friends is in a completely different world. Its the good old boys club who buys these fancy pieces - since they are the ones flying their private jets over to Europe for a weekend of quail hunting or whatever.

TISAS has severed their relationship with SDS so if you have a SDS TISAS gun you no longer have any warranty or parts support.
Thank you for contacting SDS Arms regarding your Tisas product. We regret to inform you that Tisas USA service support has been discontinued effective immediately. The manufacturer has ended all service and parts support, and we are no longer able to process repairs, warranty work, or parts requests for these models.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and understand this may be frustrating. Unfortunately, this decision was made at the manufacturer level and is outside of our control. Dependent on your warranty claim, you may consider third party options from your local gunsmith.
We appreciate your understanding and thank you for allowing SDS Arms to be part of the Tisas USA journey.

This is what happens when you buy a cheap foreign gun. I've seen lots of people get fucked by this kind of shit. Oh, your rossi broke? well we can't fix it any more because those are imported via a different importer now, Get fucked! no refunds!

at least most fails of a 1911 are easy to fix at home. anything major and you're hiring a gunsmith for a $400 dollar gun. best to just part it out.
