The NSSF are arguably more important than other gun groups. They're the gun industry's main trade organization. They run SHOT Show, write safety and instruction standards, deal with the ATF, and help build shooting facilities.

CMP is great. I got my Garand from them. Just know that they take their sweet time but it’s worth it

I don't know why but the handguard of my rifle keeps coming off.

Clean the threads with acetone or a similar solvent first or you're just wasting glue. Also, Loctite comes in a stick format, which is great for not making a mess. Lastly, make sure you use "medium strength" unless you never plan on taking it apart ever again without a torch and a lot of cursing.

Found the motivation to finish another P80 today.
