I take it you're the type to slobber over Kalashnikov USA's trash or maybe Arsenal for giving you the privilege to drop $2500 on a nice and heavy milled AKIs it really a risk when you have a built in customer base that slobbered your knob at every instance because you undercut the rest of the cheap market and trumpet MADE IN MURICA! at all the boomer congregations?
I'm not going to get into another argument on the "quality" of their AKs, if you think they're good you simply don't fucking shoot. It's like thinking they can divide by zero. As for risk, it wasn't. They were just copying their competition at the time; I.O. (aka Royal Tiger Imports), CAI, Riley Defense (their AKs suck too but at least they try). There's quite a bit of companies that were all doing US made AKs around the same time and let me tell you, not one of them has made a good product. Sure, PSA does minute improvements every generation (soon they're going to have more AK variants than the Russian government, but not for the same reasons) but they still cheap the fuck out on the most important part of making these rifles and until they stop doing that, they're going to continue to suck.
Rant over, it's your money to set on fire.
When some fuckhead Democratic admin band AK imports you'll be thanking PSA for making AKs that aren't shit. Oh and 99% of AK buyers aren't putting 25,000 rounds through their rifles.... Ever
