Good decision, IMODid I make a bad decision trading a ruger SR556 for a 1901 production winchester 1894 in 30WCF (30-30) for you youngins.

Within reason, yeah. You have to try hard to screw up an AR but with enough Mad Dog 2020 it can be done. PSA has good customer service as long as you keep communication to a minimum, so if you do get a lemon they'll either repair it, adjust it, or replace it.They both seem to have reached the conclusion that the overpriced ARs are very good, and the cheap ARs are pretty much just fine.

Radical, last I heard, had problems with brittle parts. Not the worst customer service, though.I am considering buying a Radical Firearms AR because Radical is local to me. Complain about this
It depends how many rounds you will put through it. Most people won’t put a lot of rounds, so they won’t notice a difference. How much does durability matter to you? Both Garand Thumb and Brandon Herrera have compared “garbage rod” ARs with overpriced ARs in somewhat recent videos. They both seem to have reached the conclusion that the overpriced ARs are very good, and the cheap ARs are pretty much just fine.

Reminder. Go shoot your guns. Its fun to do and makes you better at shooting.View attachment 6388387
I mean, the vast majority of people buying guns do not shoot them. As long as it can function well enough to fire a box or two at a pile of trash once a year, that's probably good enough to satisfy the average joe. It doesn't make those guns "good" or even "fine" in terms of their usability in a self defense or SHTF scenario. I don't think most people have thought that through, and just want a fun toy to play with sometimes. Which, there's nothing wrong with, but they won't be honest about it.Both Garand Thumb and Brandon Herrera have compared “garbage rod” ARs with overpriced ARs in somewhat recent videos. Even Anderson is alright. They say their machinery and production quality is surprisingly good.As long as it's not Anderson, it should do.

I too learned to hate that stock. One came on a POF Renegade Plus that I bought in 2018. Lived with it a for a little bit but then swapped it out for something much better. Why does anyone like that thing?it has that stupid MFT minimalist stock,
With shipping and typical FFL fees that's around $100 a gun which if you get lucky could be a very good deal. I spy some Rossi .38s in there, if they're in reasonable condition that's a steal. Rossi .38s in my experience are reliable, dependable and (for what they are) accurate .38s, in fact I carried one for about a year. Only downsides are they may be a bit heavy for carry for some and they aren't rated for +P but imo those are minor concerns. Saw some Jenning J-22s (or Bryco, or Jimenez, they're the same gun) in there too, with high velocity ammo those things will be mostly reliable and last for thousands of rounds, another good deal at $100.
I shed tears now knowing that Paul may have been a kiwiWon't dox myself as to why, but Paul is a personal loss, and it's good to see that his "I'm dead" has given people closure and an opportunity to grieve properly. He cared about the people who learned from him. And he had a sense of dark humor that's come through really well.
raise a glass and pour some out.
5.7's are the quintessential cool guy gun and nobody can tell me otherwise. Still for the money you pay for ammo, I want a 40 cal or higher.Listen every 5.7 ive seen looks cool and thats all that matters
Shot my cousins 30-30 years ago, loved that gun, felt awesome. It's fitting I got a SKS which is in 7.62x39mm, which is essentially Spitzer 30-30.Neither. I just got a soft spot for lever gats. Grew up shooting them with my grandpa. Plus 30-30 is great for where I hunt, cause it's decently thick brush in the mountains.
This is probably correct as long as it doesn't have a fucking composite upper like someone close to me has purchased... Not sure of it's related, but I can twist the handguard (and fsp) back and forth with my hand. Fairly certain that this person paid around 400 for it. Maybe I should buy a PSA-R and trade him, then throw that absolute abominacion in the fucking trash where it belongs. I'm curious how much I need to shoot it to make it literally melt. Both Garand Thumb and Brandon Herrera have compared “garbage rod” ARs with overpriced ARs in somewhat recent videos. Reminder that Fatrick's gun is a PS90 and Lowtax killed himself with a 5.75.7's are the quintessential cool guy gun and nobody can tell me otherwise.
