There's something to be said about that. I'd reach for Blazer before turkshit and remans in a heartbeat. They're among the cheaper brands that aren't turkshit, rebranded turkshit, or remans

1-6x or 1-8x? I have the 1-8x on my AR-10, great sight for the price. Tempted to pick up a 1-6x for one of my AR15s.I picked up a vortex strike eagle gen2 for $200. Let’s go boys.
1-8x was on sale, a 1-6x would be better but I’m not picky, I’ll take the +2x magnification even if I won’t need it. I don’t plan on shooting past 600 with 5.56 lol.1-6x or 1-8x? I have the 1-8x on my AR-10, great sight for the price. Tempted to pick up a 1-6x for one of my AR15s.
Neat, but I was hoping for a G19/USP Compact sized VP9 or P30 (no, the SK with the bigger mag doesn't count, faggot) I mean the SK feels great with the xtendo 15rn mags, but I want something that doesn't need a goofy xtendo baseplate to get 15 in the first place. Also, it would force HK to finally make proper 15 round USP-C magazines, instead of having to either buy the 15rnd SK mags and fit a USP-C baseplate, or buy the 17rn conversion kits from HK Parts just to only use the follower and baseplate retainer to convert the USP-C mags yourself.
I have a case of Blazer .45 that my FNX absolutely hates, as it seems a bit underpowered, even for Blazer. They've been on sale for months on end here to the point where shops can't get rid of their shit in 9x19, .40, or .45, I think their reputation took a major hit after the coof when everyone's ammo was rushed out the factory. I've got no opinions but I've heard they were occasionally crap.
praying for u rn
Tough as a bag of hammers she was.piece of tape is used to cover parts of the fiber optic.
RX series (RX-01, et c), SRS, and the dual illumination RMR are functionally an ACOG (sort of) as an unmagnified red-dot. the whole "advanced combat optical gunsight" sort of implies some level of magnification with a reticle that allows ranging and acquisition/PID with minimal adjustment for the shooter.
Do you squish the grip to have better concealabilitymy FNX
Sometimes, but only when its hot out and the gun has been sitting in the sun for a few hours.Do you squish the grip to have better concealability
Why? If they're going to stick to 5.56, there's no reason to drop the M4 when there are a billion of them already in service. Unless they're going to issue a suppressor to literally everyone, the only benefit the MCX offers is ambi controls, and there are plenty of AR lowers they could choose from instead. The whole 6.8 cartridge and NGSW program should die already. Just adopt the MCX in 5.56 as the next M5 carbine
IIRC making a suppressor standard is part of the plan. Though I'm sure they can do that without having to adopt a new rifle. Why? But if they did that, how would that general who is now a Sig rep get paid?IIRC making a suppressor standard is part of the plan. Though I'm sure they can do that without having to adopt a new rifle.
Occluding the objective with a flip cap really makes close shooting easy as long as your eyes aren’t fucked up.I guess that is a red dot in a nutshell but they have some sort of method for shooting at close quarters with an ACOG.
Sounds like you should run an acog with an offset mini red dot.Trijicon makes a wide variety of ACOG models, from the 1.5x compact model all the way up to the 6x DMR/GPMG model. And every model comes with a wide variety of reticles for 5.56x45mm, .300 Blk, 7.62x39mm, and 7.62x51mm. I believe the 1.5x and 2x compact ACOGs even have a more generic cross hair style reticle that have no BDC hashmarks better suited for close quarters shooting with a subgun or PCC, since those types of weapons aren't typically used for engaging targets at longer ranges, so compensating for bullet drop isn't a concern.
I've actually been considering getting either a 3.5x or 4x ACOG for my MWS308 and putting it on a quick change mount that will retain zero when removed and replaced so that I can swap the Aimpoint Comp M4 for it when I want magnification. I do have a second upper for it that has an Elcan Spectre TR scope that I plan on building up as a DMR with a 20" barrel for when I really want longer range, but I wouldn't mind being able to have magnification on the primary upper without the extra weight of a magnifier and having bullet drop compensation.
What is your distance you plan on shooting this rifle?@Romulus augustulus A b5 would be my second pick since that’s actually combat proven, the UBR looks all fancy and new and I’m sexually attracted to it. A b5 would be better since I could have a cheek weld on the adjustable portion of the stock instead of the static buffer tube portion.
What’s going to be better for multifaceted use? A Steiner or an Acog or Vortex? I’ll be using this rifle for hunting next season just to get some field training with it outside of the range. What kind of reticle did your Steiner use? Best case scenario I can find something like range finder reticle to line up a target and gauge the distance up to 600 yards.
I don't plan shooting it at all since i sold it.What is your distance you plan on shooting this rifle?
Didn’t mean to tag you in that post. Sorry.I don't plan shooting it at all since i sold it.
I think even a all anti gun SCOTUS would rule against too. bad precedent.
