Why would you cover up scratches with a primer? At least go for a normal rattlecan.
Primer in the right color doesn't suck - the red/dark brown on this rifle is just primer:

I don't think I'd use hobby acrylic though.

The 2 in SR-2 stands for 2 stocks (look really closely at the top of the receiver)

It may be hard to make out for the unfamiliar but the wet and muddy specimen featured in this photo is holding a pretty uncommonly seen A545 Balanced Action assault rifle

Found this guy on YouTube who makes bodykits for guns and some other cool stuff
Homemade helical mag retained with strap

Made his own reproduction Sedgley glove gun

Made a modernized Cobray Terminator

Made a groza

AND Converted an STG-44 to 5.56

Haven't even poster all the body kits thisbguy made (AR mocked up as WA2000, AR Mocked up as M60 etc etc) this guy's channel is a treasure

Pretty much every AR-15 that costs more than $500 is fine for normie and casual use nowadays, it really just depends on what do you mean by "good."

Have you ever wanted to own a hi-point carbine that looks like a crusty tweaker took a rusty hacksaw to the stock before using it to murder an Indian who owns the local 7/11 over $137?
Well Hi-Point Firearms has you covered because they're now offering the 995P pistol with modular pic rail attachments and the ability to accept AR Buffer tubes (the pic rail adapter threads into a buffer tube hole)

Unironically I want one, in 40. Gimme my Star Wars blaster Hi Point. Ngl been looking at their 40 cal carbines on Sportsmans, the 4095. It'd pair well with my upcoming pistol.

I haven't bought Winchester ammo ever and the only time I was lent some it was terrible, I hope the bump in price is more of a deterrent than it blowing up guns.
Eh. I've had no troubles, though the guns I've shot it in has been a Ruger P series, which eats EVERYTHING, and my 300 win mag bolt action... which I mean, not much to go wrong, it's a bolt action.

My streamlight protac hl-x laser/light arrived. I feel empty now that I can’t think of any more attachments to purchase.
Optics, sling, hand stop, full length mlok rail, light cap, pressure pad, suppressor, suppressor mount.

Then realize you don't like any of the parts you bought and shouldn't have cheaped out on them then start over.

funny thing is as far as i can tell i can get the timney trigger cheaper than i could get from HKParts. they want about 300 for a standard trigger. HKP seems to be a little ridiculous charging around like twelve hundred for something like a franklin armory binary in a magpul housing they painted the selector switch markings for.
Think this is worth me getting for shits and giggles on my PTR?
Or should I blow some more fun cash on something else.

Then you pick up your 12 pound AR and wonder what the point was.

180 rounds total, brass cased.
Look who became part of the landed gentry and wants us to know.
@BallsMcLongDong

Clearly not enough, guess I'm more The Shadow than 00
I like Bond well enough but The Shadow has legit super powers and does just fine with the ladies.
I have an SP-01.
They're kinda overrated, imho.
My blood pressure is now 268/182 😡 .
It still chaps my ass that Vltor never got their Bren Ten released and no one took them up on their offer to buy all the IP, R&D, and tooling and machinery they already had for it to start production on it. It looked like it was going to be a really good pistol, and they were going to offer it in more than just 10mm Auto. I was definitely going to get one. Probably classic stainless and full-size, just like Miami Vice
I've never handled one personally but the one thing that I wish they'd changed from prototype to production was that cross bolt safety on the slide. I get why they did it, but I wonder how difficult it was to engineer an FPB that functions off the trigger movement like so many other pistols did. Yes those FPBs make the triggers worse but on a service weapon I certainly never expect anything like a match grade trigger.

I had a P-07 for a little bit, too. The price of factory mags (yes, I KNOW CZ75 mags will work in them, and rattle around in grip while doing it, I used them myself) being what they were made me go "Why should I pay HK prices for factory mags for a "not an HK" gun?" I then sold it and bought like 5 HK's since, lmao.

They are overrated as fuck, and by the time you get one back from Cajun Gun works you could've actually bought a nice pistol with an optic instead.

The gunsmith got back to me today and Bubba actually did get red loctite in the firing pin housing. He was just as stunned as I am. At least it'll be as good as new with a few replacement parts.

y they do this
why not just make AR-18 repros. who is buying these?
For $1700 they could at least use Magpul pro backup sights, geeze.

Make an actual AR-18 clone with the proper fixed sights, and just a piece of rail section on the top if you want to mount an optic, and that's all you need, like the modern PTR's and MP5 clones.
