Brezhnev liked to hunt wild boars with a Colt Single action army that Chuck Connors "the rifleman" gave him as a gift on a diplomatic visit in the 1960s.
you can see it here:

also the double rifle is almost certainly of East german origin. I have a very similar gun (a shotgun however) that was made in the 1960s by the East German gun makers guild BUHAG which included names like Merkel, Simson and Sauer.

Beretta 84 showed up, and while PSA classifies it as VG, I'd say it's more "good". Nice bright bore and the functional bits are great though. Here it is with some of my other metal-framed DA/SA stuff:

Awesome. My local range has a very gently used Beretta 80X.

Also, I see a CZ-75b..... I'll be getting a SP-01 soon enough.

Kalashnikov Concern TR-4, It's a new generation AKV-521 style gun but cheaper and easier to produce and without an extension of the monolithic top rail to the top portion of the handguard

That AK TR-4 is probably the next logical evolutionary step in the Ak family.

Rangers using the Stoner lmg aka KAC LMG is awesome.

Why do Burmese rebels get SPAS-12 and I don't 🥹

this lady was formative in sparking my interest in guns.

Awesome and BASED.

one of the agencies i service has around 1200 P320s in inventory and other than doing the initial drop trigger fix, there hasn't been any accidental or negligent discharges due to dropping the pistol, even at weird angles. i have had weirdness in other ways, just not dangerous ones like an unintended discharge. i'm not saying people on youtube or whatever are wrong, and there is evidence by others floating around out there too, but i like to think my sample size is decent over the period of time (about 2-1/2 years, although some still hang onto their P226 since it was a gradual roll-out) is representative.

i wonder what's different with our agency vs others?

Your agency probably has people that aren't retarded, aren't morbidly obese and have holsters that fit the pistol.

95-99% of "my gun just went off" stories are people being retarded and pull the trigger by accident or negligence.

Funny you mention Indian injection molding, their previous rifle, the INSAS, allegedly had plastic magazines and furniture that was poor quality to the point where most of their soldiers hated the firearm. They switched to a licensed copy of the AK-103 I believe, which probably isn't going to be worse.

I'm not huge on pistols myself, I'm more of a rifle guy, but I'm not planning on purchasing a P320 anyway.

The Indian army then went with a dual procurement strategy. SIG 716i rifles aka AR-10s and locally made AK-103s with a few little updates.

Unlike many here I actually know someone in the Indian military who has used all three.

He said, roughly "INSAS was not great, shitty furniture and was weird. SIG AR is awesome. Gets back to the 7.62 NATO round. AK-103 is an AK with polymer furniture. A ok."

also whats a good recommendation for LPVO optic I was thinking trijicon 1-6

That's fine. Or a DELTA Stryker.

Over $1k.... Vortex Razor Gen 2e

Remember when the SIG Sauer brand meant something was high quality? LOL
People like to rag on Glock for making the same pistol over and over again, but at least it saves them the embarrassment of ever having to triple down on damage control like this.
My issue with Glock is they make something different then never release it to the public. Like the rotating barrel Glock they made for a German police department. I genuinely wonder what Glock engineers do all day. I've really wanted a 10mm Glock 40 long slide lately. I thought about how neat it would be with a rotating barrel instead of the Browning action. I guess there's always the P40L from grand power. I'd like to try one. Grand power has been interesting to me but nobody carries them locally I've seen. They basically all use rotating barrels like the PX4

That's because Glock is like pretty much every other European firearms manufacturer. They only care about military and LE contracts. Selling to regular citizens isn't a priority. Yes, they will sell to you, and even offer good customer support, but they don't really care about what regular citizens want.

An American company really needs to crank out a high quality Glock clone that costs no more than an actual Glock. No one's done it yet. The Shadow Systems pistols are unreliable and cost more than they should. The PSA Dagger is even less reliable than the Shadow Systems stuff. Every other company makes "gucci" Glock clones. Ruger and Magpul's RXM seems promising, but time will tell.

People STILL talk about the m9 frame cracking a couple times 30 years ago. Imagine how long this will live.
And a lot of the M9 issues were due to the military not replacing wear parts like the locking blocks. Even then they were safe just finicky. Imagine when the P320s get neglected..

🫩🙄 Those mentioned companies are literally Gen 3 Glock clones and work fine.

There are so many Gen 3 Glock clones out now they are just as good as a normal Glock (better even) that, IMHO, Glock is fucked long term.

Just return to tradition; the M9A4 upgrade is calling

Too big for all the Latinx and small people flooding the military. I love the new grip, but even with it it's got a wide grip for anyone that doesn't at least wear a medium male sized glove. Also I bet scores went up ditching the DA first shot. Sig also bribed with tons of ammo.

From a cost standpoint, it would be fairly cheap since the military still has a bunch of M9's in reserve that could be upgraded. Small people would suffer; but who cares lmao. As for the bribes... fair

What do Glock engineers do all day? I would guess they send hate mail to the guy who developed the .45GAP that used to work there. That or maybe read shitposts from 20 years ago about the alleged .40 unsupported chamber in the Gen1's that was never determined to be hand-loaders trying to force the .40 into the 10mm ballistics or a truly lacking and over-generous feedramp...? I don't think we ever conclusively solved that mystery, did we?

Why does everyone want a rotating barrel? What am I missing? Whats the benefit? I've always wanted a fixed barrel semi-auto. The Luago Alien is just to high for me to justify buying although I'd really love to try one out.

I'll be honest I've never understood the point of cloning Glocks. Glock aren't hard to find and they aren't particularly expensive. I guess the SS one kind of makes sense, as my understanding is it comes with some upgrades by default.

The Glock is the most popular handgun in America, so the clones have access to the largest pistol aftermarket and practically everyone knows how to maintain them. Considering their usual poor quality control compared to the real deal, they need it.

For slightly different post, enough Focus Tripp showing off yet another disgusting degenerate guntube adjacent person, a Mr. Jason Wong. Allegedly rapist, drugger and drug smuggler....

Garand Thumb and Weapon Outfitters always seem to hand around the most fucked up people.... What is it about Idaho that attracts degenerates, scumbags, and grifters?

So just buy a Glock then.
Right, and that's what most do. the clones are for a very unique subset of the market; those too cheap to buy a full priced glock, but also either don't know about cop trade ins or insist on their guns being brand new. PSA already makes a fortune off of their cheap ARs, so offering cheap glocks just seemed like the logical next step for them
