I got to handle a mid 90's ( I think) Colt Anaconda .44 and it was so bad. the finish was uneven and when i dry fired it i could feel the grit and metal shavings left in side the action.Yeah, that's definitely not a good vintage for Colt guns. Any Colt guns. I love my Dan Wesson Specialist. They had a 10mm that was very similar to the Specialist, but had a "battle worn" bronze Ceracoat finish that I almost got, but decided to go with tried and true .45 ACP as John Moses Browning intended.
the best part is they wanted 2k for that trash. The new Pythons might have not effect the price of the 1st gen Pythons but I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER, EVER buy a 1st gen Anaconda. 2nd gen all the way.
