Anyone know what the mad Russian is saying to the dude on the ground?
basically boils down to "what are you doing? is that how you adjust for range? try again" "i move it up for adjustment" "push the slide forward, not the entire sight" "no, the slide, move the ramp back down" et c then later "charge the rifle" "take off the safety and pull back the bolt" "it won't go back" "look at your rifle recruit, move the safety (shows how) now you do it" "don't ride the handle forward you must let it push itself, try again" "don't take out the magazine, what are you doing, put it back in"et c. this seems to be an introduction to the AK-74 controls with an empty magazine and rifle so the recruit can learn the basic manual of arms.

some things just don't change between languages, countries, or militaries. recruits are always getting smoked by instructors.

A portion of the 3D printed guns community held a "Makers Match" recently, with shooting and awards for creations or something whatever it's gay and not important.
The venue was apparently changed to a police range. Suspicions rose at the start when it required everyone checking in to fully identify themselves including filling out an entire form.
(archive) archive is shitting itself, waybackmachine here
One of the main people involved is "Rob Pincus," and though I do not know anything about him, he is VP of the Second Amendment Organization and also trains law enforcement.
Rob Pincus disagreed with comments and coverage given by aforementioned contributor Spookware and had him removed before awards were handed out.

Karl and DeviantOllam showed up and, of course, documented as much as they could, apparently taking lots of pictures of people who have no idea what they're getting into and why opsec is important.

A few things, this was the second National Makers Match (there have been several smaller regional ones) and it was in fact organized by Rob Pincus. Now allow me to sperg about Pincus and an individual named Darren Booth for a moment. Rob Pincus has been trying for some reason (and failing miserably) to design, market and sell a Handgun under the Avidity Arms brand apparently he has actually designed and is now selling a Handgun under the Avidity Arms brand and it is a full size, polymer framed, single stack, striker fired 9mm which he claims that a lot of people want but I have never heard anyone ever express a desire for because such a gun in this modern age is fucking retarded. For context the video went up 10 days ago side tangent over.

Anyway Pincus and Booth are the two biggest tards in the 3DP Gun community and they travel in the same circles, Pincus for showing cops his booth at a gunshow and suggesting that CAD Files for printed guns should be made to only be able to be printed a limited amount of times and that you should purchase more uses. Booth AKA Derwood is an eternally asshurt hillbilly boomer that is eternally mad at a dead Kurdish guy because he did not suck his E-penis hard enough when designing the FGC-9 which was based on his AP-9 design. He is also a scumbag who has released a pcc design with a non functional blowback delay mechanism that uses bolts that only he sells and refuses to release the specs for.

It is interesting that Karl was there, Ian has been photographed shooting and FGC-9 before. He will probably make a video about how troons and niggos need to print guns to kill the evil white Christian magachuds

Anyone have any thoughts on that new Kalasnikov USA 103 rifle?
bought 10 for resale to various people that wanted them. they seem perfectly fine and shoot well. i converted one to full auto and it worked flawlessly, no meaningful issues after inspection for peening or chipping at the rear of the carrier, the tail of the bolt, or issues at the feed ramp or magazine fitting with a variety of magazines i tried. i'm not as much of a fan that they are using rebranded KCI magazines for the included ones, but it did work without any trouble too. for those curious, the muzzle thread is 24x1.5mm RH, just like a normal AK-74.

Anyone know anything about bear creek arsenal? Looking to get a .350 legend upper from them.
Palmetto without the customer service - buy it only if you have the facility to fix what could go wrong.
Sidenote, I hope your interest in .350 Legend is experimentation because I'm interested in whether or not claims of fudged numbers along with its sketchy SAAMI acceptance and mass shilling may be true.

Yeah I mostly reload being into older shit but at times I do read a bit up on all the new things coming up and well everyone wants to be the new hot tactical/hunting round or replace 556 or something to go into an AR while 556 is harder to get .... ok, so everyone wants to make a cool new round. I should have ended on that.

But, 350 looks pretty cool and comes from a big name maker (not that little guys are bad) but I think being Winchester proper, more cash for R&D as well as functional at a "white box" level (they also do sell this white box) where, more nice like 5.7 etc don't play anywhere same as your bare bones.

Granted do I trust it ? Eh, I'd play with it, not be scared of it, but I do agree some of the things seem a bit suspect to me. If you just want fun or to meet hunting laws by all means. If this is going to be your only rifle round, I'd look elsewhere.

Pincus for showing cops his booth at a gunshow and suggesting that CAD Files for printed guns should be made to only be able to be printed a limited amount of times and that you should purchase more uses.
For context, he was trying to pitch "3d printing is a good thing if you're a manufacturer too" as a business idea because many players in the industry they have zero interest in getting involved. He just had to go full retard and suggest "gun DRM", as if DRM doesn't make things worse for everyone involved but the pirates.
Pincus is someone who needs to be constantly tardwrangled whenever he opens his mouth, he told people to comply with magazine bans in 2018 and said he'd support expanded background checks as a compromise in 2021. He also has an organization called Center for Gun Rights and Responsibility he co-founded with a former Brady campaign VP. The man's a fucking menace whenever he's let loose.

BCA is alright if you know what you're getting into and don't mind fixing minor issues. the products themselves are produced on a price point and standardized small parts are in-spec and decent quality, similar to Del-Ton. they're popular in the entry-level market and some things like typical 16" M4 profile AR-15 barrels are basically the same if you go cheap enough.

.350 Legend has a niche in states that require round nose bullets for rifle hunting, and is the yard-sale version of .450 Bushmaster. it works in similar areas as a .30-30 without the attachment to a BP cartridge, and 180gr SWC at 2000f/s is no joke and will take medium game all day long at 200 yards. i just don't know if i would make an "AR-350" with it. maybe an SCR conversion with some nice wood and color case hardening.

take a look at CBC, they're generally pretty good for the money and can certainly meet a budget if you don't mind paying slightly more for the quality. however their CS is still a little off compared to PSA.

maybe it's my little circle, but 3d printing has mostly been an interest in prototyping things at pre-production for manufacturers whereas we'd have to do tool setup and milling or write paths and set up the CNC to churn out prototypes that we'll end up scrapping most of the time. plastic is faster and cheaper to work with and make little changes until we're ready to make in metal or actual GFR polymers. that and it's a good thing for homegamers and garage smiths to build something they like and we can sell accessories for, since profit is generally better for accessories than guns. if more people are into 3d printing glock frames at home, i can sell services and parts and slides to them more often since the market has expanded.

I'd don't know if I'd say minor issues. I've heard of people having to redrill gas ports on BCA barrels and even PSA hasn't had that issue.

I’m looking at it cause it supposedly had the same felt recoil as 5.56 and can be used for everything up to hog at 100yds. If true it would be a perfect gun to keep for pest control in my area.

As for BCA, I pulled the trigger on a complete upper from them today. I’m a machinist by trade so fixing any small issues shouldn’t be a problem.

Either way I will post a review when I get it put together.

I just remembered this footage of the old Kriss pre-production prototype.

I don't think it even had a fire selector or safety or anything. IIRC, it was a very crude tool room prototype, full-auto only. However, it had a very high cyclic rate.

It also has folding legs so it can double as a mortar.
Supposedly functions like the IRA's PRIG launcher, so it throws a countermass off the rear to balance recoil.
